I do like children, but i couldnt eat a whole one:DThe trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

Fallen angel - i'll be doing holistic treatments for patients and their carers. I'll find out more next week. I'm really looking forward to it as i've wanted to volunteer for a few years but wanted to get an 'adaptive' qualification so I could work with people who are very poorly.
Lasagne went down well, so simple, but DS got very excited when he saw it. I love cooking in my shiny new cooker. I will keep it clean, I will keep it clean, I will keep it clean xxJanuary budget

Evening everyone!
I've had a duvet day today, as spent half the night throwing up, Not sure if it's the bug that is going round or what... feeling as if I've been run over by a truck now. I managed to wake the kids up at 7.30, and they sorted their own packed lunches, and OH did the school run, and took the rest of the day off to sort out the carpet cleaner I had booked, and look after me (I may moan about him a lot, but he's a solid rock in any kind of crisis!).
I have cleaned the cloakroom this afternoon, but the bathroom can wait till tomorrow.
The bedroom looks pristine, as it only contains a bed! The rest of the house however, looks much like the photos earlier. The one huge drawback to a small house - when you redecorate, the whole room has to be emptied, and everywhere else is a disaster. michelle - I know just what you mean! (great news about the student teacher).
embb - go for the job! And the haircut! I'm really not a great spender on myself, but I have to have my haircut regularly, because it makes me feel so good, I can cope with anything else!
((((poohbear)))) - a few spare hugs for when you need them
(((vanilla)))- I think it's post Christmas letdown. Or midwinter depression. January is an awful month, hate it. Can you pamper yourself a bit? And practise saying to OH, 'Let's postpone this row till the middle of next week, because I don't have time now' - hopefully by then, you'll both have forgotten what it was about. Fresh air and exercise help me, and if I can get myself off the sofa, I'll get some. Honest.
mumofjusttwo - that must have been frightening - are you okay??It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -

Vanilla I didn't even know you could get hair chemically straightened, what a sheltered life I live lol if it lasts that long it's deffo worth the money, wouldn't mind getting that done myself as I seem to have become a little frizzy round the edges.
((((((((((Shell))))))))) I know what you mean about being given anti-depressants, they seem to give them out willy nilly these days x
Serena Poor you, get well soon x
Done a few bits and pieces since I last posted, mainly cooking the tea and folding some more wet washing rady for drying tomorrow playing with littley - until her friend come round then I was dropped like a lead balloon :rotfl:
Made an appointment at the hairdressers for next Wednesday  so sooooooooon! Can't change my mind now, incidentally Serena I rarely spend anything on myself either and I think it was 3 yrs ago the last time I had anything done with it - eep!
Fancy a bath but I can't summon up the energy to go up and put the tap on lol plus it dribbles out the tap so takes an age to fill, at least 20 minutes.
