Right.. I did 30 minutes in DD1's bedroom.. 2 binbags of rubbish later.. a basket of laundry and a HUUUUUGE pile of books...
My bins were only emptied today and I have filled one already today!! Where am I going to put my weekly rubbish????????
list updated..
I am now going to do 20 minutes of general 'maintenance' see if I can get it looking like a house again.. I have to get the mountain of laundry from upstairs... and vacuum up there once I've done the collection run.. in the pouring rain!!
It is actually starting to look a little bit presentable in here.. ok.. less disgusting!!
20 minutes.. GO!!!!!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Keep the snow over in Fife jjef!! I'm seriously thinking of buying a canoe its so wet here! My car is still blocked in:mad: So will have to walk back to nursery to pick monkey up. Have done very little today, except 2 loads of washing, DW load, cleaned shower while i was in it, cleaned desk(spotless:D ). Pottered about doing stuff here and there but not very constructive:rolleyes: Will do a HHC before i have to go and get the monster. See you later;)The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

Right i've nearly done my list:
Level One
Clean floors in these rooms
Level Two
Clean baths, toilets and sinks
Level Three
Wipe down tiles in bathroom
Delete 10 links in your favourites which you no longer use or don't work
Extra tasks list, as usual choose one or more
- Clear a hotspot, if it's bad at least spend 10 minutes on it
- Remove anything from window sills in these rooms, clean before replacing the items (which you have of course given a wipe)
- Clean toilet bowl inside and out, the floor in front of it aswell if you need to
- 15 minutes paperwork filing/flinging. Deal with anything urgent now.
- Wipe skirting boards in these rooms
- walk dog
- go and buy stamps
- pay cheque into bank
- post cards to MIL and SIL
- sort out parcel that arrived late for DSs birthday - I'm keeping it for christmas now
- clean hot stones for work
- make lasagne
I'm going to living room for hotspot as DS's presents are everywhere so will tidy them up a bit. Thanks for the crisps xxJanuary budget

Last school run.. thankfully it has actually stopped raining for the itme being though it looks like it is about to start again any second..
I have got all my dry laundry folded which is great.. it is all ready to be put away when they get home.. and there is a huge pile for everyone to pick up off their bedroom floors as well.
I may set the timer and have them see who can do the most in 15 minutes.. wonder if that will work. the prize can be to choose a film to watch lol..
Meany mummy is off to wake tiddles up now.. I hate waking her she always looks so snug.. and the worst part is I know if I left her in bed and went to school she would still be asleep when I got back.. I would never ever ever do that but if I was truly evil I could! I never have and never will.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
I know what you mean about feeling mean waking them up. DD goes to brownies which is on till late. I have to keep DS up so I can pick her up and I know if I put him to bed he'd sleep through the 10 minutes it takes to get her. I never would do it but it drives me mad!January budget

Its stopped raining here too, hopefully the walk to nursery wont be quite so horrible. LO will be tired on the walk back though, she gets tired quite easily. She's VERY small, and while she has as much energy as other kids, she does need to rest sometimes. Even if she doesnt realise it, crazy child. Got some of the crap picked off my floor and did a magazine fling, one of my many NY resolutions is to stop buying magazines. Its the same rubbish in them every week and they are really expensive:eek:The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

Ooooh - mentioning magazines, I ordered a subscription of Easy Living through a firm on the net and paid with paypal in early November and still haven't received the first magazine yet. I've tried emailing but no reply so far - how do I go about getting my money back off paypal if the blasted things don't show up?I'd rather be watching CSI!0

Should I mention that I'm going to be in a magazine soon?
they just called to arrange a 'shoot'. :rotfl:
Half way through asda, DS2 fell asleep in his buggy wey-hey! Thats his second sleep today, but tues and wed he missed his naps as he was at nursery. DS1 upstairs playing my DS... on the toilet.... :rolleyes:0 -
