:rotfl: Thanks girls for making me feel a little less ashamed and a bit more 'human' about my messy room. We do need after pics once they have been tackled
Dusty - the dishwasher cleaning stuff, I do find it works much better than vinegar for the once occasionally clean it really does a good job, but, I have found much cheaper ones than Finish which work just as well, if not better. Asda do one. Cheaper still is Aldi's I think the brand is Magnum. From memory I paid £1.99 for a twin pack of them. Making it cheaper than Finish and you get 2. I haven't looked in the £ shop yet but I will be.
I've recorded Martin's programme, I have just watched that thing on how much Britain gets paid, makes me feel sick....rich getting richer and poor getting poorer is the basics of it. Nearly £800k for the CE of the BBC, no wonder we're paying a fortune in TV licence fees. One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -

Maybe I should do you pics of the girls rooms.. and the boys rooms as well.. they are all the same!

Thanks Lil_me. It has passed it's test wash so is not full of dishes and on again. I hope to pop into Lidl tomorrow after work so I will see if they do one. Nearest Aldi is in the next town but as I have never been in it I might have a browse round there next week.
Really must go to bed now.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

I feel very disheartened tonight, I dare not enter my sons room  I peeped in there tonight and had to walk away, it's like a dump, i only tidied it top to bottom at the weekend
Why do i bother, maybe i should let them sleep in a dump and refuse to tidy it. Do you think that will wake them up? No nor do i
If every member of the family household tidied as we go, we wouldn't have to do much each day, but then i guess we wouldn't have threads like this one0 -
Yes thank you ppen for making me laugh. Night night. XNothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task. William James0

Actually i think we should have a competitionWe all put pictures of our kids rooms up here on a Friday and see whos is the worst, and the winner will get all of us to go round and tidy it up for them

gee thanks!!
That room is 5m x 4m ... we just have straight up and down walls.. easier to stack carp against!
Thats still 20m sq as opposed to my 50m sq so I still think (that if I had straight walls) i'd be able to get our 'treasures' that high. Thinking of treasures do your kids play hide n seek in there - great hiding place :rotfl:
cha97michellle, glad we made your day, and Kimberley dont be disheartened we're all human (just act like a loada pigs)
I think we can all stop worrying about how 'bad' we're doing, this thread has shown us that sometimes we have to take a step back and say does it really matter that we dont live in a show house, if our kids are fed, watered, clothed and happy then we're doing a good job.
On the other hand why has OH done naff all when he's been off all week. I've just had to wash up breakfast things because he'd not bothered to empty the DW or do them himself. Grrrrr
and now I have to go iron clothes for tomorrow and make lunches or shall I find my lovely clean sheets and get up at 545 tomorrow to do before I go to work.
And tomorrow Ive got to attend PARENTING CLASSES (the 1st of 10 !!!) to help me deal with my wayward daughter :rotfl:Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0
