you are my hero, I laughed so much I cried. In your defence tho I have to say if I had a smaller bedroom mine would look like that too. It measures 7.5metres x 6.75 plus the alcoves so I must have the bigger floordrobe to spread it.

I think we have a candidate for post of the month (and poss year) here :D

Must get on, have tidied one corner (but not allowed to fling stuff as its his) and got the bed to change now as linen from the stack has just been ironed in the TD for a bit
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

Evening all. Dusty the Dishwasher engineer here. I have been taking instuctions from an engineer over the phone and getting OH to do them - the way I tell him not the way he thinks I tell him. It is on a trial run with a bottle of vinegar in at the moment as the eng said to buy one of those finish cleaner things but I am sure vinegar will work just the same and I have that.

I think AF must be due as from tea onwards I have felt ratty with the kids and demotivated even after my success today. Early night tonight as I have an exam to invigilate tomorrow. Need to do a meal plan/shopping list to go to town when I am done.

Pigpen, is your bedroom having a bad day or is that a normal day?

Tinsel and Vanilla if you are lurking thinking of you both and hoping things are well for you and yours.

Cheeky mare.. that's a good day I spent an hour 'cleaning' it earlier.. I even vacuumed the sprinkles which had been in there since.. Octoberish!

Only so I don't have to sweep multi coloured sugar strands off my feet when I get in bed!

Well all did not go to plan.

DD's had tea, DD2 fell asleep whilst eating it so managed to get her ready and into bed without waking her. DD1 felt sick, then missed daddy so did not want to go to bed yet, resulting in her asleep on the couch for the last hour (so late night for her so i shall suffer tomorrow). Now the dilema she sleeps on the top bunk and there is no way I can lift her up there so do I wake her and try and settle her back down or stick her straight in my bed?

I have gotten desperate and now eaten all but the mazipan based and cherry filled choccies from the tesco finest collect and to top it off just made a hot chocolate.

Kitchen a tip and I am thinking of clearing it so I dont have to face it in the morning, god please let me get more than 2 hours unbroken sleep tonight:rolleyes: .

I am gonna try for the mortgage exit fee, i know who we just paid of the mortgage too but the one before that which was about 4.5 years ago I cannot remember which company it was - will see if DH can remember.
  • Evening everyone.

Having a chilled out evening. DH has gone for a curry with his boss and workmate for a business meeting over a curry. By the time i got home i really couldn't be bothered, so i have done the stuff i needed to with charlie, and then made myself cheese with onion and sliced tomatoes on toast. I still need to motivate myself to do the washing up, and then i could be tempted to just go and collapse on the bed.

The most flying done here today was i have done a washload of DH's jeans, and i picked up by hand the cereal that charlie tipped on the floor. It needs hoovering too, but as the hoover is upstairs i am not carting that about now. It can wait for another day.

pigpen and kaz you have just made my day, all of my upstairs looks like that at the minute. bathroom full of tins of paint, stepladders, dustsheets, our romm has the contents of the airing cupboard in it still plus xmas stuff needing a proper home, and a stack of clothes to be sorted and ironed. Then the landing has a huge box of toiletries and a load of charlie's toys on it, and the spare room has 3 airers up, the ironing board up, and more ironing to do. Charlie's room is the only one that is vaguely ok, and that still has a full to the gills laundry basket.

And you all wonder why i am always on the go and not taking it easier as i approach 6 months pregnant. :rotfl: If i did, then we would really be snookered.

Right, a plan for the next part of the evening.
    1) wash up
    2) pick a few toys up in living room
    3) feed cats
    4) take load of jeans upstairs and hang up
    5) load the WM with next load which i sorted this morning but currently sat on our bed
    6) get DH to help me throw out the flowers he bought me before xmas, now quite manky in the vase

And that is more than enough for me for now. I keep conveniently forgetting about the ironing and finding things that are passable. And with all the stuff i keep thinking i will do at the weekend, i think someone had best add in some extra days there for me.

oh - did have some good news today. Someone has cocked up and sent us an extra student teacher, so that means that i have been told today that i will have 2 of my classes being taken by them. So, 1/3 of my teaching load - marking/planning/preparing and teaching, also standing on my feet for 5 hours a week, will be taken from me starting at some point very soon and will be until mat leave starts. Students are in for the day tomorrow to meet them. :j

This is even better than the first quote - how come the bin is empty yet you found 3 sacks of rubbish in the room :rotfl:
