  • My - what have you all been up to? Pictures - well yes I have some rooms like that too, but they are getting better - slowly is better than going backwards.

Long day at work followed by longer evening on charity accounts - but quarter 1 finished, and more importantly VAT also done!

Work again tomorrow, small friend round to play after school - so not much flying until DS goes to bed - then watch out for the tornado through Thurs evening and all day Friday. :D

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

    Morning ladies

Am tired this morning. Something woke me up at 03:30 and all I could do then was lie in bed wide awake listening to the wind rattling through the trees outside. Until, of course, 5am when I dropped into a deep, deep sleep and was still there when the alarm went off at 6am.

Looking at the list, looks like I'm getting off easy. The study/pc area is actually my bedroom which I did yesterday :) so it looks like the bathroom will get shiny this evening.

In my effort to wean myself off Mr T's I'm going to go into the town near where I work at lunchtime today and get the veg from the market and possibly some meat.

    Have a nice one

Thrilling Thursday - Study/PC area and Bathrooms

    Level One
    Clean floors in these rooms
    Level Two
    Clean baths, toilets and sinks
    Clear any clutter from desk
    Dust PC and desk
Wipe keyboard, house phone, sockets, switches and mouse etc
    Level Three
    Wash your bathroom mats
    Wipe down tiles in bathroom
Delete 10 links in your favourites which you no longer use or don't work

Extra tasks list, as usual choose one or more
    • Clear a hotspot, if it's bad at least spend 10 minutes on it
    • Remove anything from window sills in these rooms, clean before replacing the items (which you have of course given a wipe)
    • Clean toilet bowl inside and out, the floor in front of it aswell if you need to
    • 15 minutes paperwork filing/flinging. Deal with anything urgent now.
    • Wipe skirting boards in these rooms
    Also:
    • work out what to cook for dinner tonight
    • go to market for veg and meat
    • make appointment with vet
I am the leading lady in the movie of my life
  • i don't know how you lot stay up so late on a school night. Saying that, i was awake and trying to brush the cat for ages as his long fur has got really matted, and then got in bed and read for a little while to finish my book so it could go in the charity shop bag.

This morning, we were woken up at the delightful hour of 5:30 by Charlie, who i think is teething again. So, packed lunches are made, breakfast is eaten. Looks like i will be in work quite early this morning, but i need to make sure i use any gained time productively.

I have 3 lessons today, and i volunteered to help out at science club as the 2 student teachers we had before xmas did most of it, so its likely to be quite short staffed tonight. Also, must get to the post office today and post off the computer game we sold on amazon.

I think i may need to write another list of my next priorities today as i was so unfocussed yesterday.

vanilla a big hug to you as you sound like you need it.

good luck to the rest of you cleaning up those rooms. We are all so similar it is scary, and i know now why i don't want to have 8 kids. I would get so overwhelmed and stressed, and i think you deserve a medal pigpen for dealing with it so humourously.

    Michelle, x
