    evening.

gosh you lot are chatterboxes today. It has taken me ages to catch up. Also, did you have to be quite so joyful about sending kids to school? I have had to deal with about 120 of the !!!!!!s today, the majority of who didn't really care that i had planned a lesson for them, they just wanted to talk, or laze around. I would have much rather have spent the day with my monkey.

Slept really badly last night, and have been really tired all day as a result. Also, stopped late at work to try and get some stuff done, but then it didn't really work as my colleague was talking to me about one of our ex-colleagues who retired a year ago who has been diagnosed with cancer. Poor sod. Somehow related to stress of the job - so it makes me think.

anyway, don't want to maudle too long.

My flying today has consisted of:
    • one load through WM of Charlie's stuff - wet bedding again even though we were up at 6:30
    • that now hung on airers
    • took charlie a spare set of clothes for nursery
    • paid nursery bill for the week
    • got charlie's clothes out already for tomorrow
    • cooked dinner with a bit of help from DH
    • cats fed and sorted.
really need to do some school work for tomorrow. Dh was going to do more painting, but no turps so can't clean any used brushes, so,

plan for the rest of the evening is me to work, DH to make me some custard to go with fruitcake in a minute, and then to do washing up and read.

I so cannot be bothered, someone poke me with a stick please.

    Michelle, x
  • Home!!!:j YAY!!!!:j
Had a good weekend, got back slept then was out the door for meeting 1st thing 3 counties away, just got back and eaten. So worn out from all that driving and ive got a 4hr drive tomorrow first thing :o

Done the kitchen as much as its going to get done. (fridge  the bert had walked out to the bin, sides, frontages, hob, floor hoovered to be mopped before bed. Oven still clean from last week :j)

Soappie - Have you tried calling dyson. When mine went wrong i called em and they talked me through the problem and sorted it over the phone (was wielding a screwdriver at the same time so i recommend hands free.)

    Solway - congrats

Hope everyones LO have survived school.

Right wheres that bottle of wine that was opened??? Glass is in my hand.

    rosh12 welcome :)

Soappie - Dyson - mine did that today, I got something jammed in where it closes up. If it's broke and LJD1s fix doesn't work and you get no joy from the helpline Dyson have a repair thing where you pay £65 including all parts and service to repair it (whatever it needs it's £65) , I've had mine done under warranty before with this and he replaced £135 worth of parts inc the dust can, motor, lead (he said cut a little 'nick' in it next time just before he gets there and he'll replace it because it's broken :D ) , hose (also cut a hole in) etc etc. I think it's pretty good idea as the machines are expensive.

witchypoo - did my putting away of the laundry mountain this morning, argh, I hated doing it but it's done. I think what I hate is I know I will have another pile tomorrow when it's all dry, but I suppose if I keep on top of it it won't get to mountain status. I am trying having my airers all upstairs so when I take it off the airers I can put it straight away, well that's the theory. Downside is my bedroom looks like a flippin' laundrette.

I've done quite a lot today, the kitchen, dining room (apart from where I've just dumped a pile of stuff on the table :o ) managed to get level 3 done which I am happy with. Got the rubbish and tree to the tip, need to do another run with cardboard another day but that's all in a box out of the way. Vacuumed through all of downstairs. 4 loads of washing done and on airers. Some of the conservatory is done, wiped the windows again, sorted through some junk and cleaned more icky stuff up.

I forgot just how big out sitting room is, that tree took up so much space, we had to drag it out the back double door because we couldn't get it through the front, stupid thing. The tree bag with the small tree, all the lights and decorations in did fit in the loft :o DP was right for a change, so that lot is out of the way now. Great having a loft we can actually use, the last one had a hatch so small I couldn't even get my head in to have a look in there. I need to empty one of my baskets in the sitting room to put 'controllers' in for all the games consoles tomorrow, I hate seeing them all over the TV unit.

Right, well tomorrows list is up, I need to make dinner once DP phones to say he's on his way back, wish I'd not said I'd make it for when he gets back as I am really hungry.
One day I might be more organised...........

I know what you mean about rooms seeming much bigger lil_me. I'm sure there's an echo in here! The place looks so minimalist now. Infact, that reminds me that my dad got me some little terracota warrier replicas for christmas so they can go up now. Now, what safe place did I put them?

I've got another washing load on and am going to dry them for ten mins, hang them up and then go to bed. Only fault with this washing machine is it doesn't have a timer and I always forgot to check when I put it on. I guess going and checking it every five minutes is good exercise xx

Well guess what...........littles loved ballet and got to join in with the class so Mummy is now £60 lighter thanks to paying this terms fees plus I now need to find ballet outfits for 3.5 year old and 5 year old. Anyone know off a good on-line place?? The shop we had in the town closed down so the nearest place is 20 miles away and I have got no way of getting there - is ebay any good:confused: .

Best get tea sorted, maybe a glass of red whilst I am chucking stuff together;)

Shell - what colour do you need? My 5 yo gave up last year so I have a dark pink leotard, black leggings and black wrap around cardi sitting in a drawer if they're what you need. Don't want anything for them but if they're useful to you you'd be very welcome to have them.

Edit - just remembered there's a floaty black skirt as well

Yay hubbie home so I don't have to collect from cricket in 8 minutes so I can drink wine. I deserve it, gave the AGA a quick clean.
