ooh - my finest hamper for £14 was well worth the money - lots of posh goodies to eat, 2 bottles wine and a bottle of champagne and the hamper is great for storing things in! - don't think I wouldve been so happy had I paod the original price of £75 for it!! eek!0

For those needing new passports - a little tip is to apply online. Seconds to complete the form, it's then printed and posted to you - just add photos and your signature, pop in a cheque and send away. Becuase its printed it'll easily be machine read at t'other end and you'll receive your new passport much more quickly!

Moam:o Awww now see this is where it gets REALLY embarrassing - I did do that - so all I really have to do is check the darned things, sign the darned things, and get someone to sign the darned photos....and have I done that yet????.......umm NO! But I have:-
1) Been to work and had row with boss
2) Had last school holiday lunch with DD2 and DS2 ( this was important as DD2 has AS exams this week and we will all be living in a nightmare the minute she goes back to school and start stressing
3) Had my chest kneaded by the cat (this is her daily pleasure! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)
4) Did some of Thriftlady's building blocks for the freezer, then put lamb stock cooked overnight in freezer and ate the last of the pringles, roses, and cashew nuts while I worked.
5) Talked to my sister on phone (This is a measure of how desperate I am to avoid form filling )
6) put loaf in BM
Right - so far I have done NOTHING from my list - though kitchen and bathroom were S&S before I went to work this morning...so I am going NOW to make a start ---- haven't read thread yet and will NOT do so until some work has been done....honest :rolleyes:People Say that life's the thing - but I prefer reading

I'm allowed back - I have done the varnishing!!:j
I have even washed out the brush - usually I can't be bothered and just throw it away
Tia - no, he doesn't often leave home, except to go to work, and he seems to have loads of flexi days, so plenty of time to really annoy me. That's why I have an allotment.;)
Five minutes before I have to go get the children. DD is doing mock GCSE's the moment, but not doing very much in the way of revision. DS1 doesn't have any mocks, as he is doing one A2 with loads of coursework and projects, and one AS with no mock, and one retake GCSE English. He had his report on Friday, and it is about the only one I have ever had that was all positive!!:D Not that he isn't quite bright, or indeed a lovely boy (pain in the neck, but lovely with it!) but has dyspraxia, then the recovery and problems with encephalitis. It was a pleasure to read!
Welcome to all our newbies - don't push yourselves too hard today, there's the rest of the week to go yet you know!!It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
Have washed the floor in the kitchen and hall, not doing anything else, I'm pooped and I've got to hear the kids read yet. Ds is playing in room, Dd is trying out her new Art box and paints, littlee is grabbing at my legs, so may have a cuppa and a cuddle before listening to reading and then think about tea.
My house is looking marginally better it has to be said. Will it still be tonight after bath & bedtime (it never does):rolleyes:0
