I've had a lovely day - brunch with my pals (I am a sucker for Eggs Benedict) then a mooch round the artisan market. Popped into primarni for some flip flops for swimming (particularly Thursday sessions as the floor is grim - and you can be assured this has been pointed out and will continue to be pointed out) and the hopticians to order prescription goggles so that i can distinguish between clocks and 'no diving' signs 😎
DD came over and we had a natter which was nice - oh - and it has rained - properly - hopefully the moors got a good drenching and the risk of wildfire is reduced. Apparently the dry weather has revealed the posh neighbours' parterre garden.
DD starts her new dietitian role this week at the hospital at the other side of Steel City in critical care. She does 2 days/week to start with.
