Good morning all xx
I'm convinced that it's Wednesday today. It doesn't really matter as I don't have any appointments scheduled, but Sh was surprised when I wished her well in her first day in her new job because she thinks it's Tuesday today and the last day in her old job. 🤷♀️
I'm up, made my bed, dressed, taken my new and old meds, turned over the calendars, fed the birds, filled the birdbath and the hedgehog's dish, put out the recycling, and supped a brew.
WM has finished swishing towels and tea towels so I'll peg them put, then a second brew and breakfast seems appropriate.

Morning all.
Racing in so that that statement holds true…I totally forgot to post yesterday and say thank you for the lists. As Natty accurately predicted, I did not choose to clean the oven! In fact vey little flying beyond level 1, watering the allotment and bringing home a bag of weeds for today’s green bin collection, and a towel wash was achieved. And even with the towel wash I managed to dye my white bathmat a pale shade of pink due to washing a towel that my sister gave me that I didn’t realise was new. Bathmat has had another wash with the bedding this morning and seems none the worse for wear for its attempts to change colour. DSis and BiL popped in yesterday on their way home from a weekend away. Then I braced myself to tackle cutting out the curtain lining for the new LR curtains. This morning I have cut the lengths in the main fabric, so this week is all about curtain making, with the odd bit of basic flying hopefully thrown in. It’s been a few years since I last tackled curtains, so this could be straightforward or quite stressful!
Thank you for the tea, Round. It was much appreciated. I returned the favour with a coffee in case you lost track of time 🙃

Thanks for the Lists Natty.. No oven cleaning done here either 🫣
Was productive yesterday, grabbed hubster as and when needed but managed the following:
Washed double door curtains (still had Gizzy 🐈⬛fluff on them 😔) front door curtain and both door mats..
Cleaned the large curtain poles and got them fixed as breaking in places (hubster 🥰) and tested out the Window Vac that we found by cleaning the kitchen window and double doors 😮💨
New glasses collected 🤓, B12 jab had (& very much needed) then hubster had bloods taken for the 2nd time as Friday he was pretty much a stone 😬🤣
Lacking in umph but have pushed myself to make up a lasagne and some crispy cakes to clear up various bits n bobs hanging about.
Washing on the line.. now I need a cuppa, must go to the shop first as noooo milk 😩
Will attack some of the list on my return 😇

Hello all. Thanks for the list.
No oven cleaning done here either. We have a new cooker arriving at the end of the week.
Back from a great holiday and all washing is now up to date. Today I have done all the window and glass cleaning from today's list in the LR. I've also freshened sofa throws, sorted indoor plants including repotting some, watered greenhouse and gardens, walked Poppet and changed bedding. I have an exercise class this afternoon and a match tonight.
Hope everyone is staying cool.

This morning has been taken up with wrangling the cat into the carrier and visiting the vet for annual boosters.
We've all calmed down now and the lunch things are in the DW which is washing away. I've got to say that being just a bit tidier is encouraging me to keep the kitchen neat and tidy.
I didn't get around to Vaxing or washing the shark filter yesterday so those are still on my list. But after decluttering trips to the recycling and the CS yesterday, I've got more planned today - should be a bagful. I've got a few items to sell too, so I need to take some action there and stop dithering. I'm on the usual sell an Ikea item / buy a different one this week as well - having a move around at home.
The wall planner turned up yesterday and its stuck up in the kitchen. It will be a Sunday pm/Monday am job to populate it with the week ahead. It will be a helpful prompt for us all.

Afternoon all. No washing today but I dusted, polished and vacuumed all through downstairs and up the stairs. Did a roast dinner because we didn't have one one Sunday this week. Too hot really but at least we have cold meat for tomorrow. Went for coffee and shopping with DD1, was supposed to be going out with DH but he wasn't well enough. Got a banging headache and achy hands and shoulder today. Probably from lugging watering cans up and down last night.
Hope everyone's OK x

no oven cleaning done here - we rarely use our oven so I work on the basis that it's probably quite clean in there. Mind you, Jazee buying a new oven is a great way to avoid oven cleaning.
I had a very productive day yesterday - cleaned every slat of the Venetian blinds at both kitchen windows and cleaned the windows. Cleared and cleaned the worktops and appliances. Hoovered throughout.
Today has been much slower - bathroom towels washed and line dried, MrBC's clothes from his weekend away are all washed and dried. Dishwasher emptied. Quick swoosh of bathroom.

Afternoon. Shopping delivered this morning so that's all sorted out and the fridge is full. Lots of fruit and veg and salad stuff. Unfortunately what I'd like today is treats, but fortunately I don't have any :(
We had a walk round the block after that. Then I went round to see to DD2's dog. Back and got lunch. Sat outside for a while but got fidgety so I cleaned the bedrooms. That cured me!
Hope everyone's OK x

Not much flying done on Wednesday due to a trip out to see DD. It took most of the day but was well worth it. Thursday plans are to stay home and to do some more decluttering, so I thought I'd take advantage and ordered a Morrisons delivery to arrive Thursday morning while I'm around.
