Hi Nick, thanks a lot.
I currently owe about £1100 on a Halifax One Card, but as I said the 0% will be up soon. I think I would happily pay £20~ to shift it over to another o% interest card to have longer to pay if off!
I'll have a look at those two0 -

If you do a number of interest free balance transfers, does it go against your credit score?
We have done 2 or 3 and wondered if this will go against me.Learning a little more each day. :beer:0 -

Well, clearly your score (i.e. chances of being accepted) depend on things on your report other than balance transfers: it would really be down to how sophisticated any automated file searches are, and of course how many cards/accounts you have open - presumably someone physically studying your report could refuse a card/BT based on the fact they would get nothing out of you except the transfer fee.
If you're the company, and there are two customers who you know will pay, but one is more likely to earn you a bit of interest too....0 -
Could anyone advise what the best option is for me?
I bought a new TV on an interest free buy now pay later deal and if you don't pay all up within a year it defaults to a monthly payment over 3 years at a pretty high interest rate.
I'm looking at possibly getting a balance transfer card but from reading the various articles I'm unsure if I can balance transfer this TV debt using a balance transfer card.
Can I do this or would I need a money transfer card, if either's possible what's the pro's and con's of both types?0 -

Doubt you could BT the debt,so I would go for a money transfer card OR ask them if you could pay it off early using a CC and then look at getting a purchase card.I have a deep burning indifference0 -
