    Morning ppl :j .
I am new (as others) on the forum .Wonder if u could advise me as well .Am wit Lloyds tsb Platinum account 1250overdraft witch using all the time. Also Mastercard with 1335 balance on .i wish to try with balance transfer 0% .but am not sure am i understood it right .i have use article calculator .wish to clear both cc and overdraft (if poss) .when put 2600 in calculator for 24 mnth 0% it did show me i will pay roughly 80pound (thats the max what i could afford at the minute).
doing min payment on cc is 35pound and 30for Platinum account -including overdraft interest .then after clearing both i would cancel cc and go back to current account wich is free.
hows the fees been worked out .do we have to pay or they added to balance on transfer card .
also is it better to go to my bank or others (barclays or rbs etc) .
also ist worth it to apply online and whats the website ,could i have link pls or ist better to go direct to bank .
    thaks a lot :rotfl:

If they give you a credit card with £1000 limit and make you an offer to transfer a balance from another with a 10% fee then the most they'll let you transfer will be £900, or less, so as with the £90 fee your balance on the new card will be slightly under the limit. Make sure you destroy the old card and close the account. Look at the balance transfer links on this site and apply through them.

You'll need a card that allows money transfers:

    http://www.stoozing.com/credit-cards/super-balance-transfers.php

You can't transfer an overdraft with a normal BT card

The longest term 0% deals require a good credit rating so check all 3 of your credit reports before applying

Google "experian 2" and then "equifax 2" - click get your £2 statutory report links

Then try Noddle. If you can't pass the identity check on Noddle, try a different card. Failing that, get your £2 statutory report from CallCredit.

Experian is usually most relevant, then Equifax, then CallCredit (Noddle)

If you've never applied before, you can get free one month trials for Experian and Equifax. Noddle is free anyway.

Remember to cancel before 1 month expires as the subscriptions for both are a rip off at full price. If you threaten to cancel Equifax, they may offer you a reduced subscription. I only pay £3.50/month for a full subscription to Experian for example

    Hi,
looking for some advice on a balance transfer.
Currently have a virgin card with approx £2300 of a balance & my 0% balance transfer rate has just ended.
Also have a RBS card with a zero balance which i had used previously as a balance transfer then transferred to the Virgin.
RBS currently offering me 6 months 0% on a balance transfer (3% fee) to move it to this card.
My question is should i use this offer for the next 6 months then transfer again (wont be paying it off in that time) or do i go for a completely new card (ie the Tesco 1) & risk the additional credit check?
In the process of a mortgage being approved & buying a house so dont really want anymore credit checks or potential credit refusals.
    Any thoughts welcomed
P.S. With my Virgin card im always getting promo offers for balance transfers for 12-15 months so plan would be to move back to this after the 6 months with RBS.
    Thanks peep's :)

It's a special card for spammers. To qualify you have to post nonsense a few times and then post a Viagra advert
