I have just run in to this glitch too - it seems to be intermittent but we will keep a lookout to see if we can identify what might be causing it.

I first noticed it a few days ago (before J_B reported it), yesterday evening it was back to normal but the glitch has returned today - whether that's because you tried something and backed it out or because it's truly intermittent I can't say.

Seems it's just totally intermittent

Just clicked on https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/categories/mobiles and it was there, refreshed the page … still there … refreshed again and fixed!

A bit of experimenting suggests that when you first go into a board there is one row of page numbers, if you click on a thread then when you go back there are two rows of numbers. If you go to another board and then return to the previous one once again it's back to a single row.

a short screen recording if possible, the browser and device (including versions), whether it happens on all threads or only certain ones, and any specific actions taken just before the issue appeared (e.g., navigating pages, using “Back to top,” refreshing, etc.)

I bookmark all the MSE sections that I frequent and it appears randomly.

For me it's ublock causing the issue. When I have it on, I get the above issue with the bottom page numbers direct under the top one, with UB disabled it's normal.

Blocking forums.moneysavingexpert.com###themeHeader is my cause, so might be worth looking into for other users even if they're not using UB.
