PCN - Advice from Car Park Securites

Looks like my last post got lost. From the planning documents
Worth a read as it talks about the hospital's use of the land. The planning consent has quite a lot to say about signage and marking to show where the boundaries of car park were. It also referred to the William Hill building being demolished. It might be worth another Plan A - complain to Hallmark Estates (London) ltd about the way the car park misrepresents itself as part of Hospital parking
I think Chirpy Chicken meant to say IAS is a waste of time.

The entrance signage still doesn't follow the requirements in the code.
However, the IAS won't be interested. No signage at all would have been the only chance.
So I'd just ignore it. Come back if you get a court claim for advice.

Unlikely to win at IAS because the IPC pretty much promises & entices new AOS members over from the BPA by pointing out their own connected 'IAS' finds against consumers 95% of the time.
In other words, it's as bent as a nine bob note, IMHO.
However, about 20% of operators offer 'no contest' when faced with having to cobble together a case for the IAS so it can be worth a go for that reason AND to cost the scammers a £15 fee if they contest it.
No paying if you lose. It doesn't matter.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

There is no chance of a CCJ if you follow the advice on here but it may take some time to sort as there is unlikely to be a “silver bullet” until things play out

Could I use this in the sense of defending it? It seems like the option now is too just not further appeal to the IAS and wait for anything further as @Car1980 has advised.
Id really like it to go away as I am slightly worried of having a CCJ marked against me. That would destroy me, and any hope I have getting my own property etc.

@Coupon-mad Thanks for the heads up on the IAS, and it seems like a long shot. However, nevertheless as you’ve mentioned it’s no skin of my nose whether I lose the appeal and no fee.
If you could please point me in the direction to find a good template of a defence, and if I should I include the mitigating factors from my original post, and if providing the images & other evidence (e.g. proof of paying for 6 hours, and car park securities portal not displaying receipts on there portal - which I have sent an email to them directly requesting but to no avail.)
Many thanks!

@cooldude255220 might be along to help with some wording but it really is unimportant.
No CCJ is risked. Did you think getting debt threatograms = a risk to your credit rating? Not true st all!

I think after 4 pages you need to move on and forget about it
You like a lot of people are over thinking this

I have a question …… what constitutes the entrance to a car park?
this car park as far as I know ….. and I have been there and turned tail after seeing the set up and signs ………( wife was having weight reduction opp …. or in english having a kidney removed) 😉
the entrance is not off the main road , but off the NHS staff car park ( through the yellow frame work)
It prob does not make any difference … but if claiming there was no entrance signings is claimed … I am not sure how that would stand up.
I would go with the ignore till there is a court claim.
and if every thing does go against you you will still pay less that what they claim
if… iF… IF the judge found against you, paying it off within the time scales would mean no CCJ ….. non! ( please pardon my French)

Thanks @Coupon-mad, I do appreciate your help on this. I think my next route would be a appeal to the IAS from the wording provided and see what’s what.
I always presumed (first time experiencing this) that you would get a CCJ once you are sent to court and they mark it down as unpaid.
I’m guessing the action here is, to ignore anything further until a specific letter comes through the post and then return for advice.
