No OLED isnt… its like saying its the bottom of the range Aston Martin (they dont make the Cygnet any more thankfully)
Personally dont think you will find others are better, at least when they hit the same age, but the solution is easier than a new TV

You have missed the point.
My issue is LG TV used to be responsive. Now it is getting much slower to respond to EPG and other commands. My Samsung TV which is a similar age is still super fast. As I said; your solution does not work. LG is painfully slow to connect and operate my Firestick and Youview box
I am happy with picture quality from my "bottom of the range" TVs.
I would not buy an Aston, prefer my 911 <LOL>
