    Morning all,

    My list for today

    • Feed the animals and walk the dog
    • Change the cat's litter tray
    • Check availability for a client and get back to him, as I was meant to do this at the start of the week and forgot all about it
    • Spend an hour on placement admin
    • Clean the bathroom sink
    • Put the recycling out into the bin
    • Look for the student finance letter that I need
    • Go to the hairdresser's appointment (some quality mother-daughter time as we are getting our colour done today)
    • Laundry x2 loads
    • Speak to the kids about going to the cinema to see T.S 5
    • Update Mr T order for delivery tomorrow
    • Empty the DW and put dishes away
    • Look into debt consolidation options
    • Update the planner for next week
    • Feed the animals and walk the dog

I think that is everything that I need to tackle today. I hope everyone has a lovely Saturday.

Evening everyone. Luckily it's a bit cooler today with a slightly fresh breeze. Only really done the basics this week but the beds got changed and all the other washing done too. Vacuumed downstairs twice and washed the kitchen floor but there was no way I was vacuuming the bedrooms. Like an oven up there. No-one sees it anyway.

I've done a lot of watering of pots in the garden and deadheading. Everything has survived so far - even me!

    Hope everyone's OK x

After a week of being cooped up mainly indoors, we went out today to visit a Grade II listed walled garden, situated within an 18th century natural landscape which is a designated SSI. Despite having lived in this area for more than a third of my life, I had never been there. They were having a fundraising open day with tea and cakes on offer, as well as several stalls, displays including bees and bats, and live music from a local silver band. All very enjoyable. It was quite hot but nowhere near as unbearable as the past 3 days. Rosie came with us, of course, and enjoyed being off the lead through the parkland and shady woods, though she had to go back on the lead in the garden itself. I had a hospital appointment* at 1.30, so left her and DH in the garden which I drove there and back. Apparently DH took advantage of my departure to get himself another cuppa and another slice of bara brith! Rosie was not enamoured of a game, very popular with families, which involved wooden bowls - they like gunfire - but she was with us so she coped.

*(No new problems - just "See you again in 6 months," which is how it's been for about 10 years, so all is good.)

The only flying I've done today has been FUPA clean laundry and another 2xWM.#
