Can you tell me how to upgrade it. I can see upgrade current account and ISA but not the saver. I am just trying to renew to get the 6% for another 12 months

I can see the same. May be the upgrade only becomes an option when your 12 months bonus period is up? Hope @Sherlock33 can clarify

When closing an Edge Saver remember to ask for what remains of that months interest to be sent electronically to your Santander current account. With Sandi there is an option to send the interest to your specified current account. Unfortunately I got a cheque for just over £5 along with an account closure letter. When closing over the phone I`m sure I asked for the interest to be paid to my current account. This is to be avoided especially because I spent 15 minutes last night unsuccessfully trying to get my photo of the cheque accepted by the App. They also ask for a photo of the back of the cheque which is blank. Am I supposed to write something there? I will try again in daylight otherwise its a trip to a Santander cash machine.

No, you don't need to write anything on the back. Just a photo of the blank backside. At least that's what I have always done when paying in a cheque using the Barclays app

When sending backside photos, make sure that it's the backside of the cheque… 😉

Made a complaint when mine was not closed within five working days, per Sandi advice.
Closed same day. Resolution achieved. New Edge Saver opened the following day, visible and funded.
