Fined £100 for underpayment

It’s usually up to 30 days for them to respond. They don’t forward it to IAS that’s your decision if they reject your appeal.
In any case IAS is irrelevant in most cases and non binding so you won’t be paying them anything

I think that the notional deadline was 35 days, so a couple of weeks is not a lot
I would say that nothing is normal in this currently unregulated scam industry

Sometimes the appeal reply can end up in your junk folder so make sure you check that folder too.

Woohoo guys. I'm so glad I listened to you all and didn't pay. Thank you so much!

@Writealetter Excellent!
Just to confirm, did you use the full appeal and attachments as an internal appeal to Smart, and they cancelled it at that stage?

Nope didn't need to. I just sent a simple message when appealing the ticket saying what I said in the initial post here. Entered at x, exited at y, paid for chargeable time, why have I been fined. And this was their response.
I was surprised tbh, I was fully expecting it to be rejected. So glad I didn't panic pay as I have done in the past so appreciate everyone's guidance.

Nicely done!
The tariff charging stops at 6pm so they couldn't have won and should never have issued the PCN at all.
Wonder how much money they are making from victims who just pay?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
