"I was not the driver of the vehicle on the date in question."In that case - unless the driver was your identical twin - I WOULD have sent a pic of your photo driving licence with a few lines/the number redacted but showing your picture and name to show it's yours.
This can be useful! That way, you immediately kill the PCN, especially if the driver looks nothing like you.
I just wrote an appeal for a friend who is the keeper (oldish balding guy) but his wife (blonde) was driving at an Airport.
We are waiting for the PPC to chew that over…
I know this may seem like it goes against previous discussions but it is a different kettle of fish when the keeper really wasn't driving! May as well kill the PCN off now. Why not?
I think (if you were not driving) send your partly redacted driving licence as a follow up tomorrow, and tell them to withdraw from the IAS appeal when you do it later this month, because you will show the IAS that you emailed your evidence of not driving and the operator can now stuff their 'Elliott v Loake' rubbish where the sun don't shine
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

My new tack with dealing with these is now thus
reply to the email from Times
Give them the drivers name and a serviceable address
Log an appeal with the IAS include evidence you have transferred liability to the driver and that there can be no liability under POFA.
this will work
For every parking firm I have a solution😁

@ChirpyChicken Won't Times just re-issue the notice to the driver, or does the IAS appeal kill it off when they withdraw/lose?
Always remember to abide by Space Corps Directive 39436175880932/B:
'All nations attending the conference are only allocated one parking space.'

No the IAS appeal kills it off
2 -
The IAS appeal surely kills off the PCN directed at the registered keeper. But why would it kill off any future PCN to the driver?
1 -
I am guessing that it is an anomaly in the overall process - that once an issued PCN is successfully challenged it is killed off 'at source'?
1 -
Because the pcn is cancelled down via the IAS in its entirety.
1 -
That is correct
2 -
Well yes, that PCN, which was issued to the keeper, may be cancelled.
But there's no reason why the Operator could not then issue a PCN to the person named as the driver, is there?
1 -
This wont happen with the system they use and because of the way the system is set up the whole thing is cancelled
A new pcn will not be generated
They run a very different system to the likes of group nexus who generate a new pcn number. However even they do not generate a new pcn to the driver when they mess up
Ive sent you a pm to explain more.
