I remember on one of my previous cars I pulled away and there was a bonging noise. Looked at the dash display and nothing showing except that the seat belts were done up - why you would want to know that rather than the opposite I could never figure out - so nothing obvious. That then went out and the alert was there - a door was open but the warning was hidden by the seat belts are done up message. How on earth did that scenario get past testing !
