Ordered Broadband from Sky got Streaming Box

The price she "she thought she bought" would be on the account or emails sent out.

Sky broadband prices are about £28 or less depending on speed and availability so if the price is more than than I would expect she went for a bundle.

I gave a link a 2 post above yours for sky fibre and stream.

Your daughter would need to be correct in what she did or did not order before contacting sky .

If she got the Streaming box within 1 or 2 days of ordering (either by herself or not), then that's extremely quick for delivery.

Unless Sky have started something new then they're not giving anything away. Have you not checked her online account, especially future bills?

That said I switched to VM BB a couple of years back from Sky BB and they were offering their Stream box for free with the BB, I had an admin account for the VM Store at the time so it was handy for me even though we had Sky Q. I had to switch back to Sky BB recently as VM wouldn't just give me BB and now wanted paying for the loan of the Stream box.

OP - does your daughter have a local town with one of those Sky “pop up” booths that she could visit to speak to a human ?

Whether intentionally or not, she seems to have raised two orders.

After ordering broadband (or at the same time), is it possible there was a promotional auto-ticked incentive for a free trial of streaming, which then converts to a monthly charge if not cancelled?

Perhaps as part of the sign-up or a flashy graphic within the welcome emails?
