You mean physical cash? You don't, obviously, but you can deposit cash into an Ulster Bank account at the Post Office and I think Ulster Bank customers can use NatWest and RBS branches as well (Ulster Bank is a brand of NatWest).

Usually no, a driving licence on its own isn’t enough. It can cover the ID part, but most banks will still want something separate for your address.
Some of the digital banks are a bit more flexible, but even then they normally verify your address in another way rather than just relying on the licence.
So in most cases you’ll still need at least one extra document showing where you live.
