Ombudsman Evidence do I have a smoking gun?

I am basing what I believe on multiple instances in multiple different scenarios including different road types, traffic situations and situations around the car itself. Why is the car braking when I am on a motorway with no cars or cyclists of any kind anywhere near me either in front, behind or to the side? Yes it does it when they are too but not exclusively so. It also isn't slowing down it's like a brake test which is dangerous especially if cars are behind me. That said again it is not solely doing it in this circumstance it does it when nothing is nearby and I'm on my own.
In terms of the pulling off I am not using anything nor is ACC on. The car in front pulls off and I press the accelerator and the car does not move. None of its safety features are being engaged in stopping me and even if they were 6 seconds is very excessive especially if the car in front moved off immediately plus it also happens when I'm at the front of the queue at the light.
I would concede if the issue was limited to specific scenarios such as the ones you listed but it isn't

Does it only not pull away instantly when there is another car in front of you?

It happens regardless same with all of them. I could be in the middle lane of a motorway all on my own the car does the same thing

Not to pre empt anything but if I won my case and they had to take the car back and unwind the contract what are my responsibilities in terms of the car.
Like was I supposed to keep it clean and the battery maintained?
Obviously I know it needs to not be damaged etc so I've kept it insured in the event something happens to it but don't know how much I need to do given I've rejected the car and now awaiting a verdict about that.
Just don't want to give them ammunition to charge me for something (outside of how much I used it pre SORN)

I wouldn't worry about that.
If you've formally rejected the car, have you returned it to them or is it on your driveway?0 -
It's off road in my parking space. They haven't accepted it back yet as they are awaiting the ombudsman ruling. Will be interesting to see what happens given they ignored evidence and didn't even follow their own procedure. I can't wait until this is over one way or another
