Today saw the end of dog sitting after 9 days, which included 3 days where two dogs overlapped. Tiring, although I do love them. Made more difficult because I had to sleep round DD2's house with her dog and constantly walk back and forwards to my house to clean, cook, do washing etc. Plus walk them separately because they don't get on that well. Younger dog doesn't always get the message that older dog has had ENOUGH.
In a day or two I'll be moaning that I'm bored!
Anyway, I've done a roast dinner today, stripped remade and washed two lots of bedding, cut the grass and taken out a plant which just looked worse and worse and moved another one in its place. Hopefully that will not die on me. Although that would be a good excuse to buy another one…I also trimmed the top of neighbour's laurel bush which he couldn't reach from his side. My green bin is full now but it gets emptied on Friday.
DH watching the Giro d'Italia. He says he's hot although it's not really hot, he's not too well today.
Hope everyone's OK x

Hello all. Currently I am relaxing in the garden having travelled a total of seven and a half hours yesterday to visit poorly MIL, and today I have hoovered through, picked up Poppet from dog sitter and walked her, done dailies, cut grass back and front, weeded back garden. DH helped moved some pots although he's got a headache from all the driving and he is midway through defrosting the freezer.
Two wash loads are now also dry so I'll put them away soon. Will catch up on the next thread although tomorrow is grandchildren day.

I did a few bits to get ahead ready for next week. I tidied my handbag - how do receipts and sweet wrappers linger in there for so long? I also organised my swimming bag because it was irritating me each time I went swimming. Also did my makeup bag that I keep in the car - there's now a comb, lip balm, handcream, glasses wipes, tissues, paracetamol and hand sanitizer in there.
Made a start on June's meal plan and sorted out the banking for next month.
