Chase increases cashback to 2%

Although I notice Chase are more fussy about the codes than other providers. My NatWest Travel Credit card gives me cash back for the buses, but Chase doesn't!

Chase explained that the MCC used by the merchant is that of a Drinking Place and not a Restaurant, hence the exclusion.

I get cashback on the buses via Chase.

Those that take an initial 10p do not show as cashback until transaction finalised, then they do (did)

NatWest Travel card will give cashback for Uber taxi rides (apparently), Chase will not.

Which bus company? If you pay on the bus you get cashabck, if it's Go-Ahead, and you pay via the app, you don't.

The 10p is just checking the card works, and where capping is in place they're not going to know how much to charge until the end of the day as they're not going to know how many journeys you're going to make. 10p isn't enough to attract any cashback anyway.
