Ideas for keeping cat off front garden!

Had a colleague who used to sit relaxing in his garden and at the sight of any cat the super soaker came out. He got to be a pretty accurate shot.
Things that are different: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid1 -
LION dung pellets .......available on Ebay........ideal for keeping cats away.

Nepeta cataria planted in the back garden - The local population of cats will be stoned out of their minds and completely forget the front.
Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.5 -
It's usually just the toms who react to catnip. I have a pot on the patio, and we often see next door's lad flat on his back with his eyes crossed! Our own lady is an indoor cat, and she has 'just said no' to the sprig I brought inside for her.
A dish of Dreamies by the back door, however….

Put a charity collection box outside plus a sign saying “Suggested donation for stroking the cat £1”. The crowds will quickly disappear.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?1 -
With the former, don't think the cat can read, with the later, I bet the cat has already done that.

are you honestly assuming that a cat, you haven't even met, is illiterate? Very presumptuous!

I had an issue of many neighbours cats using my garden as a litter tray. I tried the spikes you bury in the borders and they didn't work, cats literally stepped around the spikes. Tried the air can for training pets, they run away fast but simply return. Tried hose pipe but too slow. Tried the auto water cannon thingy but that was messy and dripped water and then broke.
Tried several electronic high pitch cat scarers, most are useless, except this one (note must be the V2).
This device has solved the problem for over 2 years now. I now only get a problem when they run out of battery, which is immediately solved by replacing them. I even bought some rechargeable batteries especially for the 4 devices I have (2front and 2back).
Personally if the cat isn't using your garden as litter I'd go with the donation box with a little barrier of some kind for crowd control ;)
Sense is not common.2 -
I’ve always found the idea of using lion dung quite amusing although I understand the idea.
Got a problem with cats crapping in your garden? Sprinkle a bigger cat’s crap around. Sorted. 😁
