^^^ Same thoughts from me, MMM xxx

amazed that Mr Ionafan is not sporting a black eye or similar🤣🤣🤣 - I won't complain too loudly because he left me to sleep almost all afternoon, and I feel a lot better for it.
We've had sunny periods today, with intermittent rain and hail showers. Rosie has only been out once. Glad to say that her poorly pad seems to be healing. The sock fell off this morning and I didn't put a new one on because I didn't intend to take her out onto the rough lane.
I need to tidy my study before preppng any more of the children's crafts for Sunday. There are a lot of family history papers, left out since Monday, mixed in with today's Jungle deliveries, my roll of kitchen foil, ditto rainbow wrapping paper, and plastic boxes and trays, all of which need to have homes found for them. I think I shall declutter the children's books off the little bedside shelf unit and see if I can fit most things that I want to keep permanently in here onto its three 11"x9" shelves - at least until I can make space in the cupboard on the landing where I store a lot of family history stuff. That in turn depends on my finishing the grand sort of the family photos, so - realistically - unlikely to be available this month 🤔 My five wide shelves in the study alcove are already full of office supplies and books, though I have done more than one big cull of those things over the past few years.
Action is needed, and I want to watch LLF at 9.00, so I'd better stop wittering and get on with it.

Morning all xx
I'm up, made my bed, taken my meds, turned over the calendars, completed Strands with no hints, completed Wordle in three, abandoned Connections after getting one line as I couldn't see another connection (I'll go back to it later), and savoured my first brew.
The preassessment yesterday went OK. I've put weight on since the wedding but I'm two stones lighter than I was when I had an op in 2017. First time I've had an ECG and I was concerned that they'd find something else wrong with me, but nope. The ECG was normal! First time I've been swabbed for MRSA too 😳.
The HCA taking my blood made me do a double take when she asked if I was having 'both done'. Pardon me? Both what??? Apparently the nurse who'd seen me earlier usually does the eye patients so the HCA thought I was having a cataract operation. Nope. Hemi thyroidectomy. Double checked my paperwork!!!
Now that's over I can relax and enjoy my Leave, find which way is up, and fly a little.
First things first:
Have a second brew ✔
Eat breakfast ✔
Get dressed ✔
Set towels and tea towels swishing ✔
Feed the birds ✔
Refresh Sassy's seed and water ✔
Have a good day. Hugs to all.

Afternoon all. One washload done and pegged out. DH went for annual blood tests. We decided after that to go out for lunch so I checked the weather and got the washing back in. Lucky I did because it poured while we were out and it was half dry when I got it in. By the time we got home it had finished off on the airer so I changed the bed and washed that. That's hanging indoors now because we're getting sunshine interspersed with heavy showers. Car tax reminder arrived. How much?! Done online anyway. That's about it. I dusted and vacuumed through the house yesterday afternoon which I think was after I posted.
Hope everyone's OK x

Same here Valli. Zero flying, don't know what I'm saving it for though. Just essentials done.
Morning everyone. Hugs where needed.
I may cut the grass today. I may not. Meeting friends this afternoon. Puzzles now. DH is at work then doing the shopping on his way home.
Have a great day everyone.

Morning all xx
What a glorious morning. Baby blue sky and the sun is shining.
I'm up, made my bed, taken my meds, turned over the calendars, completed Strands with no hints, completed Wordle in four, completed Connections with no lives lost (yayyy), and supped a brew.
I've weighed myself to get a starting point to lose some chubbage. On a Saturday! Strike while the iron is hot 😉
The Saturdailies list is on my radar. And I need to stop procrastinating and get the contents of my brain dumped on paper before I do forget something important. Maybe then I'll sleep better 🤔
A second brew is required. Join me?
