not much flying done at all, done some wualtd, that's about it but I have been mentally planning to go through kitchen cupboards and clean and declutter.

@Natty68 - so sorry to hear about your nephew's baby. Sending hugs to both your nephew and his girlfriend, and to you.
Have you heard the story about the tupperware time box that had been put away by scientists for a couple of years with 8 containers and perfectly matched lids, and when the box was opened, there was 15 lids and only two bottoms neither of which matched the lids. Everyday I have to fight to find a bottom and a lid that will go together. Sometimes I just despair and dump it all into gallon bags.

nancy I've never heard of that story, but it figures when it comes to Tupperware…lol I'm sure they have a special built in growth hormone that makes them multiply when not looked at…lol
I'm intrigued how many lids I'm going to have without their bottoms….lol
Well I've been up since 5.30am this morning and so far I've done:
- the washing up,
- got tonights dinner out to defrost,
- fed the cats their breakfast
- and written an outstanding letter that needed doing :D
And now off for another cup of tea…lol

Morning all xx
I have a day at home planned. I'm up, made my bed, taken my meds, turned over the calendars, completed Strands with one hint, completed Wordle in four, only managed two lines on Connections, brought down the laundry hamper, sorted washing into loads, set first load swishing and made a brew.
I'm going to have a shower, wash my hair, and get dressed before I have a second brew and breakfast.
Love to all.

I put out fresh towels. I've showered, washed my hair, shaved, moisturised, and I'm dressed. I've changed Sassy's seed and water, fed the birds, put out the recycling, pegged out the first load, set the second load swishing, eaten breakfast, and I'm supping my second brew.
Struggled to decide whether to peg out the washing or put it on the airer upstairs. But it's out. Cold breeze and intermittent sunny spells. It's what happens in between the sunny spells that was bothering me 🤔
I need to write down a 'brain dump' list so I can untangle my brain and prioritise. And breathe .... My head is a complete shed.
To Do Next List
Finish brew
Peg out second load
Pay gas bill
DUPA yesterday's washed pots
Baby steps.

Afternoon all. Not enough washing for a load today. That's why it's been dry, but it's not that warm. Cut the grass this morning then we went to a garden centre. I got a hare "statue", I have been looking for something for years and this one felt right. Also a hanging basket. Remind me when I moan about watering the pots that hanging baskets are the worst! Then back to DD2's to help her plant out some stuff. She needs somebody to give her the enthusiasm to do these things.
Hope everyone's OK x

I decided to hedge my bets and put the second load of washing on the airer.
Brought first load in at 1pm as it clouded over and looked as though it was going to rain. Of course it didn't rain, and it is now sunny and breezy 🤦♀️ Heyho.
I didn't write the brain dump as it seems to big a task at the moment 🤪. But I have completed a task that would have been on the list if I had written it! I've fitted together the budgie 'gym' that I originally bought for Joey. RIP.
Sassy is free flying in the LR for the first time. She's currently sat on the curtain rail. I have everything crossed that she will go back into her cage when she's hungry.

Sassy returned to her cage when she was ready. She's been out and in again a couple more times, and she landed on me a couple of times 🥰
Now that's flying 😉
