Hello all just got back from work so am cutting it relatively close but going to try and submit defence before i go to bed and at latest in the morning, just making sure i have until 4pm tomorrow to do so as instructed in the thread. Used a template of para 3 from a previous thread and edited it to be relevant to my case. Would this paragraph be ok to submit with the rest of template, any constructive criticism is appreciated. Also this is for the PCN dedicated to me as the defendant. I cant seem to find how i could write up a defence regarding the one for my mother. Do I need to write a para 3 as my mother was just the keeper and she wasn't there etc. As always thanks for the help guys!
3. Referring to the POC: paragraph 1 is denied. The Defendant is not indebted to the Claimant. Paragraph 2 is denied. The Defendant does not accept that a contravention occurred on 26/08/2025, as alleged. Whilst the Defendant is the driver, paragraphs 3 and 4 are denied. The Defendant is not liable and has seen no evidence of a breach of prominent terms. The quantum is hugely exaggerated (no PCN can be £170 on private land) and there were no damages incurred whatsoever.
3.1 Due to the length of time, the Defendant has limited recollection of the day in question. The Defendant has parked in this car park many times while exercising in JD Gyms with evidence and witness of my attendance available to submit when required. The Defendant was unaware of parking restrictions in place. The Defendant had not noticed any ‘Prominent’ signage close to where the vehicle was parked, showing the terms and conditions for use. The small signage was not suitable to alert a motorist, leading to an unawareness of any parking restrictions.

That's fine except there is no 'my' when writing in the third person.

Yes but that just involves changing a handful of words from your version of para 3. It still works, just needs a tweak!

Hello all before I go to bed ill put an update through for my defence. I just submitted them both and theyr are as follows (para 3)
Referring to the POC: paragraph 1 is denied. The Defendant is
not indebted to the Claimant. Paragraph 2 is denied. The Defendant
does not accept that a contravention occurred on 11/08/2025, as
alleged. Whilst the Defendant is the registered keeper,
paragraphs 3 and 4 are denied. The Defendant is not liable and has
seen no evidence of a breach of prominent terms. The quantum is
hugely exaggerated (no PCN can be £170 on private land) and there
were no damages incurred whatsoever.3.1 Due to the length of time, the Defendant has limited
recollection of the day in question but was not the driver on said
date as the defendant was at home with witness to be submitted
when required. The Defendant had the PCN appealed however it was
refused.This was for my mother.
