VoIP providers may still be better value in some cases , but not massively so these days , can you link to the VoIP provider that provides 0.4ppp with no additional monthly fee as the majority now charge a monthly fee , and it’s often in the region of £10 a month , admittedly someone making many calls that price per minute can make a difference compared to PAYG customers with traditional providers , but that’s because they are on the wrong tariff, as regular telephone providers can also charge £12 for unlimited calls, VoIP charging £10 a month and 0.4ppp is hardly a bargain.

The Dellmont brand StuntCalls. No monthly fee. It's actually in euro cents plus VAT, near enough to pence, 0.4 UK landlines. 0.8 UK mobiles, 0.8 Belgium mobile, 0.5 Germany landline. My last 10 Euro + VAT top up was in November 2024.

That account doesn't come with a phone number, but I have free of charge incoming VoIP numbers from Sipgate and Localphone. The latter has reasonable call rates, for those who don't fancy choosing from the Dellmont brands

Currently paying £44.68 pm on Plusnet for BB & phone with anytime included UK calls which would continue to Jan 27 with EE. Prices I quoted in previous post was for comparable package as a new customer. Price I will be paying to Zen is £6.18pm less than I’m paying now for almost identical package, though ‘only’ 1000 minutes rather than unlimited. So I think I am comparing like with like.
