I decided to try and watch an episode of the UK Spendaholics, as shopping really isn't one of my natural loves. I wasn't surprised with the first episode with Ally and her 43k of shopping debt, but was fascinated by the way the team gave her a Cold Turkey weekly budget of £65 and tried to change her shopping psychology with analysing with her, the root cause of her shopping addiction which was clearly an unusal and sensitive issue. Facing her fears of 2nd hand shops and buying from general chain clothes stores with an identical garment comparison was also fascinating, although I will admit, I did fall asleep 3/4 of the way through the episode 🙄.
