Big (((hugs))) round xx It's sadly true that you can't choose your family, only your friends.
DH has just rung me to say that he has been moved again, this time up to the Respiratory ward. He sounds very rough.
I have slept for odd hours during the day, visited DH this afternoon, and gave Rosie as much attention as possible in between. Did more laundry, loaded the DW and WULTD the non-DW bits. I'm not going to church tomorrow as I want to get the house clean and tidy before visiting DH.
And it's raining hard. At least I won't need to water the garden pots for a day or two.

Wow Round…hope things ease up for you
Hope Mr Ionafan gets well soon
washing line dried. DW locked and loaded and have but the kitchen to bed like a functioning adult!
DD and I went to Steel City to get one of the two dashcams we ordered - that shop was showing as in stock, ordered 1 (because the website wouldn't let me order 2) and I assumed it was a website issue but when I went to order the second they were out of stock. Ordered second from nearer branch to be picked up Thursday as DD and I are having one each.
Roast dinner (cooked by me) and pub quiz tomorrow. Must read sports news in anticipation of sports questions. I'm thinking snooker and football. mmust book table.

Hugs for those in need especially Round - that sounds a rough start to the year. Ionafan you too, the exhaustion from constant going to and from hospital and the time which ebbs away so you feel you get nothing done just adds to the stress.
We had a good journey to Streatham yesterday to meet DB and SIL at DstepB and SIL's house for lunch. I thought I might be home in time for either zumba (5.45) or moonlight swim (7.30) but we had such a nice time chatting in their sunny conservatory that we didn't actually get home until 8pm.
Lovely sunny lake swim this morning, the swans have 8 cygnets.
Went to Mr L on the way home. Needed to plan for chuch group meeting at our house on Tuesday eve (cakes needed) and Somerset friend staying from Wed afternoon till Thurs am (evening meal to include another friend too). Will still have to pick up a few things on Tues am but at least my head is straight now - last night I was fretting about menus/shopping/when to cook etc, as you do in the early hours.
Spent a long time flying in church as several of the Easter flower arrangements needed removing/replenishing and the pews/floor in front of pews/aisles were festooned with ladybirds. Many deceased, but a few alive so I dustpan-and-brushed the pews, swept the floors and tipped it in the churchyard so live ones could fly away. The vacuum cleaner was sulking at hoovering up bodies, so waited till I'd almost finished then spat them out again. Spent a while looking for a new bag then resorted to trying to empty vacuum bag into a carrier bag; don't bother trying as it doesn't work and it is no fun picking bits of dust (and bodies) out of the bag to try and make room. I've just gone online and ordered more bags. On the way from locking the church door and walking to the car, I spotted the rather hidden lilac tree was in bloom; I love the scent so put my buckets, waste bag and groundsheet full of dead flowers/clippings on the ground and cut a bit to take home. Of course I then managed to drop the church keys somewhere between the door, churchyard gate, crossing the road and into the car park so that required several re-tracing of steps till I found them. By then, accompanied by copious dust and flower-induced sneezing and coughing.
Checked greenhouse.
Did a bit more knitting, I've nearly done the back of the baby hoodie. The multicoloured wool is very pretty but easily tangles which is frustrating.
Tomorrow it is church, I'm reading, then either gardening or house flying prior to the visitors. Monday I'm doing the zumbathon, 3hrs with profits to breast cancer research same as last year.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.
It's tough getting rid of the past but it does free up space for the future.6 -
Morning all xx
Sorry that I took over the thread yesterday. Reading it back - and throwing in two weeks with a painful back, plus being told I had to move office then hauled over the coals for questioning the decision - I'm amazed I'm still sane. Or am I? 🤔
Good to get up this morning with the Saturdailies done. A millionty one other things to do still but starting from a firm foundation.
Ooo Narc0 - would you please come and find my car key? I hate losing things. And I detest mysteries. So annoying but I suppose it's an incentive to deep clean the house. Cough. Or it should be.
I'm up, made my bed, taken my meds, turned over the calendars, and savoured my first brew of the day.
I'm going to make a second brew and complete the nyt puzzles before I make a start.
Love to all. Get well soon to all the poorlies.

A millionty one things to do, so I'm sat scrolling on my phone 🤦♀️. Not productive. I've supped my second brew, eaten breakfast, completed Strands with no hints, completed Wordle in four, but only managed one line in Connections.
Just received an appointment to go to ENT on Thursday. I guess that'll be for the biopsy results. And breathe....
I'd better write a To Do List and tick off as I go, or nothing will get done.
Take clean clothes upstairs ✔
Get dressed ✔
That's a start

Thank you Busy granny 😘
I thought I'd visit Pops before I did anything else. It was raining so I decided to be lazy and take my car. Restricted view to my right as NN and his friend's vans were in the way, and, even though I looked, I very nearly wiped out a van that suddenly appeared from behind their vans. 😱 I braked just in time. Narrow escape. Too narrow - made me feel sick.
Went to visit Pop's and was sad to find he seems to be going downhill. He doesn't feel well - blaming the antibiotics - but he was also very confused. Rewriting history. I didn't correct him. I'm hoping that was his medication too.
Stop the world. I want to get off. 🌎
