Hello all.
Today I have freshened sofa throws, changed bedding so two wash loads are now on line, walked Poppet, done more admin, dailies and from the list I've wiped all paintwork in HSL and cleaned front door inside and out. Also cut front grass.Spend less now, work less later.4 -
Belovéd helpfully watered some of the plants on the sundeck this morning. Unfortunately he didn't realise I'd left all the superking bedding out overnight just to finish drying it off, prior to remaking that bed today, and it's going to rain in about an hour, quite heavily, so I can't say too much or he'll never water anything again. The place looks like a Chinese laundry, so I've postponed the remaking until Friday, and tidied everything that the rain would have soaked away so that when I do get a chance to finish the potting up it won't all be ruined or drenched.
I've updated my To Do list to reflect the shuffling of various tasks because I'm taking our elderly neighbour to see the osteopaths at the local university to see if they can help with her neck, which has been bothering her for years. They've worked such miracles for me I really hope they can help her. They only time the person she's seeing can fit her in this week is Thursday morning, which means I'll be going into the Foodbank on Friday - I can't bring home work this week because I'm not going in during May at all. It's all getting a bit tight timewise.

the hall mirror is sparkly clean as is the glass in the front door. While I was cleaning glass I did the hall and bathroom windows and wardrobe mirror doors.
Dishwasher unloaded and reloading, 2 loads of washing dried, some of which has been put away.
I also had a sort through summer clothes and have a few things for the charity bag and a few bits for the textile recycling bin.

How did the car plans go? Mine did not go as well as I'd hoped; one of the contenders turned out to be bigger than I expected when seen in the flesh - not to mention the very poor service from the sales team. I went to my usual dealer to have a second look at the one I'd liked, to find the showroom in disarray and to be told they were moving to St Alban's (45mins drive away) and the space was being taken over by Renault. To say I was flabbergasted would be an understatement. Cue major sulk, bought myself a ready meal in L1dl by way of consolation and Mr N started busily looking up hybrids instead of EVs in case we found something we'd like.
Gym swim this morning.
Work this afternoon.
Plant watering done.
That's about it.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.
It's tough getting rid of the past but it does free up space for the future.5 -
basically i'm buying the same as i lost but not a special edition. I get it tomorrow. it's a hybrid
ironing all done

Hello all. Hope you're all doing well.
Today I have done a work shift, walked Poppet, dailies and cut back grass including edges. Just having lunch and doing puzzles then I need to bake a cake before doing more paid stuff.Spend less now, work less later.5 -
Evening all. Sunny and windy today after a chilly start and I dried three loads of washing, including all the bedding, in super quick time. Had a shopping delivery then went out and cut the grass. Picked up DGD4 from school this afternoon, we went to the park then back here for her tea. Just watered the pots outside for the second time today, the wind has dried everything out. Might have put in a new plant too….
Hope everyone's OK x
