    Evening all.

I have hoovered downstairs, done WM and TDx4, planted an amaryllis in a pot and some sunflower, rudbeckia and viola seeds (separately) in trays, watered the pots in the back garden, and generally kept an eye on DH who is not at all well.

Afternoon all. Hope your DH improves soon Iona x

I've done a washload which dried beautifully again. Looks like the weather is set to change tomorrow. Of course it is, there's a Bank Holiday weekend coming up.

Dusted, polished and vacuumed through downstairs and up the stairs and washed the kitchen floor. Went shopping with DD2. Obviously we had coffee out. Bought a few bits and pieces but spent less than £20 overall so not bad. Tried to sit in the garden and read this afternoon but too much lawn mowing/car washing/chatting going on around me. Can't be helped when you live on a housing estate. Watered the pots.

    Hope everyone's OK x

I have cleaned the kitchen and DR and I am hopeful that I have found and evicted all the tiny spiders who've been weaving tiny webs in bizarre places. I also mopped half the hallway and the bathroom floor.

Cards written for nephew and great nephew who have May birthdays as I am meeting my sister tomorrow, thus saving on postage.

    Hope Mr Ionafan is improving

More get well wishes for Mr Ionafan.

    • 1 load through DW
    • Did aqua zumba
    • watered greenhouse and a few outdoor plants.
    • Went to drumming lesson. Nice to be back to both aqua zumba and drumming after missing them for funerals the last couple of weeks.
    • Got a few bargains from Mr T on my way home.
    • Looked up a lot of utilities info re electric car and made a list of questions to ask provider tomorrow.
    • A few other vaguely IT admin tasks.
    • Picked some foliage and did a small arrangement for SIL and stepbrother who we're visiting in Streatham tomorrow, meeting up with DB and SIL for lunch. It had to be small as we go by train, tube then bus to get there. Checked train times.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.
It's tough getting rid of the past but it does free up space for the future.

DH spent another day in hospital yesterday, but was sent home before bedtime in a pretty poor state. Today started badly, but he has improved a bit this afternoon, heaving eaten a small portion of pasta and ice cream (separately!) for lunch. Rosie was very happy to get the leftovers. L has offered to take her out for extra walks, which will help me greatly and delight Rosie.

I've just managed to keep on top of the washing up and laundry. No hoovering because my knee is more painful than my shoulder.

Valli, that marina place looks rather nice.

Hope everyone has a restful or productive Bank Holiday weekend, according to your preference xxx
