All warning lights, odd on the 12V battery is past it best. But before replacing get the charging system checked out.

Modern electronics do not not like low power supply & throw up all sorts of weird problems.

    +1

Stop/start not working is a definite sign of a poor battery. 9 years old and probably original battery then a new battery is a must. (and stop using stop/start)

If you have auto hold footbrake that stops working then that is the first indication of battery failing before stop/start fails

I had similar on my Qashqai.

Correct. Replaced it roughly two weeks prior, with a good quality Yuasa battery, installed and programmed at Halfords. Has worked fine since then. Battery would have been fully charged also, because I was on the last leg of a long commute.

    OBD2 is giving P0222 code.

Even with the new battery and the end of a long drive, has the OP actually checked the battery charge level? It could be that there is a fault with the charge system (perhaps the alternator) meaning the new battery has been slowly depleting and no dropped below the point at which the Stop-Start system will function.

2 or 3 weeks after I had my stop start battery replaced and programmed at Halfords I got a stop start message.

Halfords checked connections and reprogrammed but could not fix it so went to my local garage.

He found 9 fault codes .

He cleared the fault codes and they never came back , including the start stop one.

    Not had any problem since.

Something tells me the Halfords battery fitters are allowed to code the battery in but not to look or clear error codes which may have been caused by the battery issue. 😂

If it’s the battery, why would it take over a week to appear, and why would it happen an hour into a drive?

By "take over a week to appear" do you mean a week from when the new battery was installed?

If there is a fault within the charging system for the battery (i.e. the alternator), then the new battery was installed fully charged and powers everything it needs to power for a week, all the while depleting charge. At some point, the charge has depleted to the position that the Stop-Start inhibitis. That point seems to have been an hour into a drive.

What is the current charge level of the new battery?

Its not the battery. Its been latched onto as a possible fault because people confuse correlation with causation. A failing battery can cause electrical issues with lots of modules but electrical issues aren't solely due to a failing battery.

Basically, the car needs properly diagnosing.
