First of all I am sorry if i should not of started a new thread but ihave read a few of the ones similar to this and everyones story is a different scenario.

This is my car and I dropped my partner off at adjacent to the BP garage at EMA like I have done previously. The car would of stopped for 10/15 seconds but I guess rules are rules. The images show my missus getting out of the car so I am banged to rights really. Is this worth fighting? what reason can i fight it?

One genuine issue i have is they offer me the chance to pay only £60 if I pay it before 16th April but the postman only delivered the letter on 17th April.

I appreciate any help or advice that can be given.

Sorry just to be clear, are you suggesting I do nothing for now? I have read the newbies threads and other posts with similar issues but they are being advised to respond with various templates etc?

Ive removed them now. Do I respond to the PCN at all (online reason for appeal) or do nothing yet?

You could appeal then to the IAS, putting VCS to proof that your car was on or adjacent to double red lines, which are the only surface markings denoting the supposed 'no stopping zone' that the PCN relies upon.

Do i do this first? I've just googled it and it says you must appeal to the parking operator first?

• When to Appeal: You must first appeal to the parking operator; only after they reject your appeal can you go to the IAS.
