Lost evri parcel

Hello all, looking for any guidance you may have. I recently sent an item to a company who offer repairs. The company provided the evri label for me to use to send the item to them. Evri have proof of delivery but the delivery photo looks like it is in the middle of a road or at least nowhere near the delivery address /door - the repair company has never received the parcel even though Evri says they have delivered. The contract with Evri is with the repair company but they are asking me to resolve with evri. The contents of the parcel are old e.g. 15+ years - hence why needing a repair!- I have no receipt for the contents as they are so old. And the replacement value of the contents is also several £100s. Any ideas on how I can resolve this? Thank you for all and any guidance, or similar experiences.

If the repair company provided the label then the items were in their care from the moment you handed them over to an evri agent. If you have a record of what you were sending them then they should be liable for the full value (you can try to find similar items and calculate a value but obviously make an allowance for the fact the items you sent required repair). Politely remind the company that evri were acting on their behalf not yours, and that they need to compensate you and deal with evri.

The repair company should be the ones sorting it as they provided the label, and I would hope, have covered the value of the item as there are various levels of cover for items you send.

I would definitely go back to them.
I personally would do that and I would still be trying to speak to Evri as well to see what happened and if they can locate where the parcel is. But the repair company are the ones that arranged the courier, so they should be the ones chasing it.
