MSE Forum Poll: How many streaming services does your household pay for?
Comments

I used to be on Netflix family thing but we dumped that when they hiked prices and introduced ads.
I do not pay for any of them but I have access to AppleTV through one of my kids having Apple Music I think.
It is a very poor value service, not even one film a week, I looked up the last one they offered and it was 45% on IMDB, I do not watch anything less than 68%.
The series on Apple TV can be good but they are drip fed and there is always as least one episode that is bloat and can be completely skipped with no loss of continuity. I wait until all episodes are available before I watch them.
Now I am considering getting a proper broadband as I will go back to Torrents at some point.

And some of the worst. Doctor Who. 🤮
Don't pay for TV licence, never watch BBC or Live TV. I have Amazon Prime for the delivery, and Netflix free with Virgin Media. Never even logged into either of their streaming services as I never watch Prime or Netflix. Hard to find time to watch TV when you spend most of your viewing time on YouTube, Twitch and gaming.0 -
Ive got a half price tv licence and an Amazon Firestick does that make me a 'streaming service' person ?

I happen to love Doctor Who, but we all have different tastes and opinions.
I find it hard to believe that you can’t find anything on the BBC that you like, but, whatever0 -
I love Dr Who pre season 13, lucky I have these on DVD and can watch them whenever I wish, I dislike any series when new writers come in and think they can just change fifty years of cannon for selfish agendas, I watch entertainment to escape the state of the world we live in, no be preached to about it. Dr Who is so bad now, even Disney dropped it, and that takes some doing… hence why its cancelled.
The issue isn't if I find something that I like, there are some interesting programs on the BBC, Line of Duty for instance, that was good drama, but it's like a weighing scale, if there is more that I dislike than I like then they don't deserve my monies.
I would ask you... if the BBC was such good content, do you think they could go subscription and staill stay in business?0 -
no idea. I pay my licence fee quite happily and would subscribe but I can’t speak for anyone else

None and same here with the Disney plus, but I don't need it or use it 🙄🤐
