Welcome back Jazee.
Happy Birthday Narco
Been to funeral. Came back to a line of dry washing. New driving licence has been delivered.

Afternoon all. One washload done and hung outside until about midday when it rained 2 hours earlier than forecast but luckily I noticed and grabbed it in. Mostly finished off indoors now except for a pair of jeans. Dusted, polished and vacuumed through downstairs and up the stairs and washed the kitchen floor. Walked DD1's dog three times, just one to go. I call it a walk but it's more of of a snail's walk while he sniffs every blade of grass. He goes home tomorrow afternoon and I will miss him but won't miss the slow walks, they are very tiring.
We have the dentist on Thursday so that's playing on my mind and the person in my family I have been worried about has appointments on Thursday and Friday so that's worrying me too. Hopefully they will show some progress.
Thank you for posting about the Covid boosters Iona. DH is eligible but the doctor doesn't bother to notify us because we don't give out our mobile number. They have our landline number and could have the email if they wanted but it's obviously easier just to not bother.

You know when you start something and wish you hadn't, yep that's me today.
I decided to do a bit more in my bedroom and started by removing everything off the rails and throwing on the bed. I then hoovered under the rails and defluffed the skirtings and have been sorting clothes ever since. I used to use an app a few years ago where you catalogue everything, size, cost, season etc and create outfits as you wear stuff. You can then see what you wear most/least and actually get a cost per wear. So I am trying stuff on and updating that and have so far created 2 bin bags full of stuff I wont wear and stuff that I would but is not my 'colours' (which I had done a couple of years ago). I have so far covered sweatshirts and hoodies, skirts, trousers and shorts, with dresses, knitwear and tops to go. At least I will know what fits and what doesn't as some mornings I can try 3 pairs of trousers before finding something that fits.
But first I need to start dinner for DH and I, I think DD was cooking herself something around 3 whilst working from home.

happy Monday
I've thoroughly cleaned the cat's corner of the kitchen which I hope the cat appreciates. I worked on cleaning and organising one shelf in a kitchen cupboard but that's motivated me to do another shelf tomorrow. The dining table, chairs and placemats are all nice and clean.
I'm planning on using up a candle tonight so I can start a new spring inspired candle tomorrow. Sometimes it's the little things that are uplifting.

Blackcats, when I've cleaned her corner, Rosie always shows her appreciation by leaving behind another handful of fluff to replace the one I've just hoovered up 🤔
Glad your back is improving a little, round xx
I have got my computer back and decluttered £££ for the servicing - that's why I normally only get it done once every couple of years. The original problem appears to have been in the mains connecting lead 😣so I have a new one that works.
I wielded the duster again this morning and did WMx3, including all the dusters (was in danger of running out of clean ones!) and we got to the pharmacy on time for our Covid jabs. No ill effects yet, so I'm hoping all will go smoothly again this time. Off to meet up with the other Old Wives shortly. DH is glued to the TV, watching Japanese trains.
This week's to-do list is getting longer, so tomorrow morning I will have to concentrate on cutting that down to a manageable size. And I mustn't forget to empty all the indoor bins.
Have a peaceful evening xxx

Happy birthday Narco.
I didn't get to walk Poppet as planned as my body decided I needed a couple of hours sleep. Fortunately she had already been taken out this morning by SIL. Recycling still needs to out too but can wait till tomorrow. All washing dried so I'll put that away in the morning.
DH cooked tea as usual and I've just done the washing up. Sitting down now to watch football, hoping I can stay awake! Think meds are making me tired but I am planning to return to paid stuff in a couple of days.

Up for my morning walk this morning, then had to call the docs for Mr Shores - all sorted for him now.
Was a quiet paid stuff day, so managed a lunchtime walk and also tidied a couple of surfaces in the office. I have a plan to get it tidied now - the plan is the main thing for me otherwise i procrastinate.
Sent a few personal emails, few more to follow up in the morning.
Folded the washing and took it upstairs. Putting away will have to be tomorrow.
Cooked dinner, washed up and wiped the surfaces/hob. Recycling all done and bin out for the morning.
Night all x

Welcome back Jazee.
Thanks for all the birthday wishes. It was a lovely sunny day so I went for a run instead of doing Body Pump.
I'm not sure I have any flying to report other than going to Mr T on my way home from Alexander lesson, oh and checking the greenhouse…….
Did some drumming practice.
Went to zumba. Delivered some spare foxgloves to a church friend as she lives next door to the school where zumba is held. I've managed to give away several bags of foxgloves in the village - ours love self seeding in the vegetable bed!
About to load more books onto Kindle for my couple of days away.

Morning. Hope you're all ok today.
I'm just having breakfast but have already got bedding on the line, have watered indoor plants, freshened sofa throws and updated admin. I'm working on my pensions frog still, a bit at a time. Exercises have been done as well. Wordle in four, no lines on connections, strands with no hints.
This afternoon I'm meeting up with some friends for the first time since February. DH is taking me and picking me up. On the way back I'll also post a parcel for something sold online. Ferling….
Best do the washing up now and get dressed as Poppy will need her walk.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.8 -
