We haven't done LPA. We have begun the process, but it takes months. I'll contact the court tomorrow and see if I can chat to someone. It's mad. I've never experienced this before. I've given them proof of her illness and they've disregarded that for £260 quid. I won't be quiet about this.

She needs to defend and you can do the admin but in her name. Just use the Template Defence for cases where the breach isn't pleaded.

Get it in then find out what's needed for you to be appointed her litigation friend (NB: not just a Mckenzie friend).

Alternatively, would a CCJ matter to her? If no, because she doesn't need credit or a mortgage or use a phone or car with monthly payments, one option is to ignore it, ignore the CCJ and make merry hell with the landowner, CEL and get your MP on board.

Alternatively again: I will send you a pm with a genuine offer of help.

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

This wont go to a hearing. They will not pay the hearing fee.

Or you can ignore and it will have zero effect on your wife

CE have provided zero evidence of any contravention. The only pics they have are of a vehicle on a public road. That is all.

If you dont get private help in the pm by coupon mad, then if you can login to MCOL via your wife's government gateway account, complete the AOS online stage first, then copy the Chan and Akande defence template into the defence box, save and submit, to get her past these early stages, as was suggested earlier

Do not use your own account, everything is in her name, because she is the defendant on paper

I wouldn't suggest you ringing the CNBC tomorrow because they won't give you legal advice, they will probably suggest that you both obtain independent legal advice, so I think that you will be wasting your time asking them

Hey mate, just for your ease the very very first step you must do is complete your Acknowledgement of Service online via the MCOL (money claims online) website. You have 14 days to do it. If you miss it, youre screwed. Please get that done at least.

You will find many parking charges have been succesfully defended against. Worst case the fines are always lowered. Get on it, you'll pat yourself on the back later.
