I do not believe that a court in Northants sent you any paperwork

More likely to be a Money Claim N1SDT pack from the CNBC in Northampton using MCOL to sue you

Post a redacted picture of the POC from the lower left of the claim form below after hiding the VRM details first

Also post the name of the actual claimant, the client of DCB LEGAL

DCBL are not involved here, just DCB LEGAL and their client

Yeah I was just being brief and using plain speak I guess, yes it is CNBC in Northampton. I am just having a look over it just now and my previous case with DCB Legal and what I did there, as this is, yet again a case of 'double dipping'.

Because its a court claim, accuracy is imperative, because if a court in Northants had sent you paperwork, its a more serious matter or the claim had progressed past the halfway stage, so different responses would apply

I think that you are at the start of a simple Money Claim, possibly for a pcn that should have been included in the previous claim ? Which may change the advice in any replies below , regarding estoppel and Henderson vs Henderson

Is it Group Nexus and DCB LEGAL ? Or a different claimant name. ?

Yes it is Group Nexus & DCB Legal. The exact same as my previous case which I won/they pulled out of and the circumstances are quite similar too.

So I have been here and dealt with this before, but it was 3 years ago so taking a bit of refresher course. My concern was that I seemingly lost a month with the LOC/LBC having been lost, or sat at a neighbours for a month, but it seems the only thing that cost me was the 30 day extension period which I asked for and received (sort of) last time. I am now at the N1SDT form stage with CNBC as you surmised. Given the lost time and me working away on the road often the issue date was 27th August, so I am still within time, but have lost a chunk of it.

From your previous thread - a few more disco's since then!!:-

FYI - even the unregulated "joint" single ppss CoP (soon to be replaced by Government regulated CoP) acknowledge this scam:-

    https://www.britishparking.co.uk/write/Documents/AOS/Sector%20Code%20Templates/sectorsingleCodeofPracticeVersion1.1130426-2.pdf

    "7.3. Use of photographic evidence

Photographic evidence must not be used by a parking operator as the basis for issuing a parking charge unless:

    d) images generated by ANPR or CCTV have been subject to a manual quality control check, including the accuracy of the timestamp and the risk of keying errors.

NOTE 1: The manual quality control check for remote ANPR and CCTV systems is particularly important for detecting issues such as “double dipping”, where image camera systems might have failed to accurately record each instance when a vehicle enters and leaves controlled land, and for checking images that might have been taken other than by a trained parking attendant (see Clause 15)"

With an issue date of 27/08/26 and providing you complete(d) the AoS before or on 15/09/26 your defence deadline date is 4.00 p.m. on 29/09/26

  • I would wager that they no more employ manually checking or go over things now than before… it is the same fire a few letters out money grab as always.

  • Yeah am going to do the online thing today…. I dont remember an online component before but it must have been there. I will check back over my old process through this in earlier thread and check.

Last time you probably emailed your defence but not this time. Do it on MCOL.

Show us the POC because GN claims usually don't specify the alleged breach. In which case, use the linked Chan & Akande version in the Template Defence thread.

@Nellymoser do you have both double dip cases this poster has fought?

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD
  • Well thats the AOS completed… cant remember whether I did it that way before or emailed.

Defence deadline noted on calendar and will attend to that in due course. Will also check through the Newbies thread, things will have changed.

What was the POC that was asked to be shown?
