(PCN) & again, DCBL debt collection letter
I have been here before with Highview/NEXUS and DCBL - that ran for a while and, unsurprisingly they pulled out about 2 weeks prior to the arranged court date.

I am back again in surprisingly similar circumstances.
This (27th March 2026) is the first communication from anyone regarding this and it is from DCB Ltd acting on behalf of CP Plus Ltd.
The letter (Debt Recovery) is for £170 - the only info given is that it is for an alleged contravention back in mid-January 2026. I have the date, the vehicle registration and the retail park (which by looking on google maps could be split between either a Tesco or a McDonalds (this is not in my local area it is the other end of the country).
They mention in the letter that they have previously written to me at a previous address but did not receive a response so they traced me. I would assume any original notification from CP Plus Ltd also went to this address. (I had moved from that address in November 2025 and yes, I had informed DVLA and I have proof I then chased DVLA, and a reply from DVLA saying they had lost my original address change etc).
There is vague recollection of that time - there was a rendezvous with work colleague before a job in the area. Colleague was not in the McDs, after short delay a brief check drive round the adjacent Tesco car park, & work location nearby, to see if they were there, then a return to the McDs by which time colleague had turned up. Surmise that 'extra' in/out of the car park was not picked up on their camera system. There would have been dashcam footage, but not three months later, that was over-written long since. There is no recollection of the signage, but also no idea which car park is referred to here, if it is McDs (the only one what makes sense) then would think given the usual limit the alleged overstay is in the magnitude of 7-8 minutes. 🙄
So, it begins again - I guess I basically wait til Letter Before Claim and will meanwhile try to contact the retail establishments under Plan A. (I will meantime give DCB Ltd & CP Plus Ltd the current address as the only one to use in regard to this matter).

Thats correct , wait for the LBC or Money Claim
If necessary, update the correct address details with DCBL & C P Plus

Yep, and what a surprise CP Plus are basically NEXUS… so it really is like history repeating.
