1 . You do not have any rights over an account that is not in your name.
2 . If you cancel the payment method, it will trigger a request to the account holder to set up a new payment method, if that is not done and payments are missed, services will be suspended and if the account holder then contacts Sky they will be redirected to a payment line to pay arrears and set up a new monthly payment method before Sky will even talk to the account holder, depending on the exact timescale, the next bill may also need to be paid.
If missed payment exceed 56 days then the account may be terminated.
Again, even if you pay the bill you won't have any rights, all correspondence and any charges are the responsibility of the account holder.3. From reading the Sky forums, they do not allow transfer of broadband or TV accounts, you may be best to look at the Mobile section to see how they treat mobile accounts.
