  • Im a teaching assistant in a special needs school. Money is okay, but its not brillant. I love my job and wouldn't do anything else. Great opportunites to do further study related to my job at which school pays for and study is always worked around school working hours.

Been very lucky as from Australia and got qualifications at home and walked straight into a job over here.

I work full time as assistant to faciliites and maintenance in a leisure centre - translates as a fancy title to a General Slave with lots of variety. Like many on here, some days I love it, some days I don't. The pay could be better for what I do though but everyone thinks that, I suppose....:rolleyes:

I'm a manager in sheltered housing, about to embark on expanding service into a community outreach service. In a previous life I was a chef which comes in handy catering for my residents occasionally. I am also near to completing my honours degree with the Open University, but that's just for fun:rotfl:
My wages are pathetic but i love my job and have OH to keep me solvent:D
