Hello
Weigh day -1.5lb please Brambling.
That’s the bit I put on over Easter gone. I’ve felt hungrier so have had a mid morning or afternoon snack some days, my appetite seems back to usual now so this week I’ll try going snackless again.

TFI Friday! 1lb loss this week. I've been keeping to my calorie goal and mainly low-carb food with plenty of veg. I also do sort of time restricted eating - breakfast around 9.30 and eve meal around 5/5.30 most days.
Exercise - daily walks, a couple of runs and 30 min weights workouts - my legs hate me now but it will do me good 😂. I'm trying not to overdo it - so a run or a workout 5 days and fairly lazy weekends to recover.
I'm away with work next week so I'm not expecting to lose anything!

Well colour me purple and call me a grape! I'm down 5 pounds! All due to being ill of course but if it works…. Got home from our holidays at the beginning of the month with what turned out to be covid. That completely stomped my appetite, I mean, I have never been a "slice of toast for breakfast and another slice for dinner" and struggled to finish either. So having reached the stone mark I'm going to see if I can manage to get down to the next half stone by ridding myself of some of my grande derriere by shedding another 7 pounds by the end of the quarter. No holidays planned so it might be possible.
Meanwhile…..I've been surprised by the relentless number of "diet patch" ads that come up on my phone when I'm playing games. Shockingly deceitful. Basically they are pretending to be Boots advertising something that will help someone shed 10 - 15 stone in 7 weeks thus going from massively obese to being slim and well muscled. There are other ads around to wear a patch and be cured of diabetes in 2 days and similar things. There's another version but instead of a patch you need to wear earrings with a specific gem in it. I assume people are being taken in by these which I find quite sad.
