    Sorry for going AWOL guys I fell off the wagon and have stuck my head in the sand, I've not faced the scales 🫣 I fear it won't be pretty when I do 😔

    I'm hoping my annual blood test will show my thyroid meds need upping as well a gaining weight I'm falling asleep in the chair, not a quick nap but 2 / 2.5 hours. Either that or I'm eating a lot more carp than I thought which as I'm not cooking in the heat is a possibility.

    Any way enough moaning from me. Well done forthe losses and condolences for the gains and well done for those getting to target already this quarter.

    pleased to say I'm holding steady.

    OH bought me some trousers for going away in a couple of weeks and they are much too big so need to be returned. Shame as the fabric feels nice. Then again they are also about 6 inches too long….

    @Brambling hope you're feeling better?

    Back from hols and dreading the weigh in! Rightfully so... 7lbs on eek!

    Mainly because of not being able to eat well. Breakfast veggie options were really good with loads of fruit, yogurt etc. Lunch was pizza, chips or nachos with loads of guacamole and cheese. Evening meals - nothing hot really suitable, it's all meat and fish. So loads of bread, salad and ice cream. Plus side - we had a much needed really lazy hols and a good week away, which we're thankful we're able to do.

    I'm hoping it'll drop now I'm back eating my usual low-ish carb diet plus exercise. Feeling very bloated! I'm looking forward to normal eating now.

    Hi everyone, hope you are all well.

    So, I'm 4lb down since returning from holiday, please Brambling.

    I've not updated as I've wanted to have a couple of stable weeks, I've had 3 Gallbladder attacks, which have not been nice, they came on unexpectedly, food / diet not triggering them, but that trip to F&M or Selfridges for a big fat slice of cake didn't happen as I was ill in the small hours and didn't leave the hotel, until I got on the train home, oh the Universe is a cruel thing!

    Only saving grace has been increasing my protein and being reasonably strict with my diet, and even that has not been guaranteed, I'm just trying to lose what I can now, so they don't have too much 'love' to cut through if I can have the bad bits cut out.

    Have a good week everyone.
