Three items of each sections, that I had in the workshop, that were easy fixxed on the next trip up to fit the whole fence.
All I want to know is if a person ordered a fence custom built, and fitted, that was delivered. Quite a distance and weather turned. Customer went out for shopping and left us to do the work) When left to fit at a later date, can they charge rent ???
Regards.

So many questuons.

The point is that your chances in court are likely to be materially influenced by the key facts of the matter, and posters are asking lots of questions as these facts are difficult to ascertain from what you've posted.
The simple answer, posted several pages back, is that it's unlikely that rent can be charged as such, but in itself condensing the issue down to that single question won't reflect the likely outcome of a court case…

Hi,
There was no cancelation until, the next time I said I would be up, to fix the three areas, and fit the fence. It was custom built to fit one 8m only, and decorative and the hight. They did not give me chance to fix the three areas. I think by law they should leave me fix the ares, then try and cancel, otherwise they are outside the law.0 -
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, if a custom fence is damaged upon delivery or installation, you generallymust allow the seller one opportunity to repair or replace itbefore you can cancel and demand a refund. Because the item is customized and faulty, you are entitled to a remedy, but not an automatic cancellation.Timeframe:Within the first 30 days, you can reject the goods if they are faulty, but sellers often have the right to repair/replace first for custom items.Reasonable Time:The seller must complete the repair/replacement within a reasonable time, without causing significant inconvenience.
The buyer would not let me go up and fix the fence ???

That looks suspiciously like copy/pasted AI slop, or have you sourced it from somewhere credible enough to rely on in court?

yeah.
I've not heard of the trader having a right to repair if the customer rejects within 30 days

Hi,
When I was leaving I said its to wet to fit today, but we might fit some of the fence togther, (it came in three parts, but there were items still to add to each part) unbolt the three broken, and fit the new from the workshop next time we pop up.

OP short term right to reject allows refund without repair/replace.
From your own link?
30-Day Right to Reject Faulty GoodsUnder Section 23 of the Consumer Rights Act 2015, consumers can reject substandard goods and get a full refund within 30 days of purchase. Examples of substandard goods are goods that are faulty, goods that are not as described, goods that fail to meet the expected quality etc.
Repair or Replacement
After 30 days, you will usually be entitled to a repair or replacement.

The OP needs to go to a solicitor and pay for proper legal advice.
All this toing and throwing on here and not very clear questions/answers from the OP I making it hard to give an opinion based on the facts given.
Going by the OP's latest thread's they seem to have a few customer issues.
Has the OP actually started legal proceedings on the customer yet?

Personally I would assume that the definition of substandard goods would only come into play in a supply and fit of a custom item situation when it was finally handed over to the customer as job complete but what do I know.
