Same scenario here, I have a Moneybox account (and a Plum account too) that are no longer used due to no decent offers for existing customers. I'm wondering whether to close / delete them entirely, can't see any reason to keep them open.

As far as I'm aware, I don't think your account will actually be opened until you actually deposit the minimum balance requirement (£500).

Yes, that's also my understanding. It's also how HMRC sees it.

Hopefully the rate will extend into the next tax year. Having it start on a bank holiday makes this somewhat more likely.

Hi, ive started looking at transferring out from Moneybox this morning. Did you have to fill in a paper application form that they send you? I'm annoyed at this as they have contacted me at all. I was hoping to transfer online to Vida easy access isa with Hargreaves Lansdown but a HL rep told me that Moneybox dont do digital transfers!

Sorry, I don't know about transferring out from Moneybox...I've only transferred in to them.

But I'd be surprised if they don't do digital transfers out as they definitely do digital transfers in. Probably best to get in touch with them and ask...

This is another problem as their email address doesnt seem to be valid. Do they have one even? I can see they have an address at 1-2 Hatfields, London, SE1 9PG.
