I don't know why this is so hard for you.

Click on one of them and a window will open and then download it.

I would go for the universal print driver and the diagnostic tool as the later may solve what is wrong.

I have mentioned this to you twice about diagnostic tool.

I can't get to 3 I have screenshoted because you need a computer to download and I am on a mobile.

You can buy a Canon 3600 series Printer/Scanner for around £40 from Argos - Old printer is always going to give a problem eventually - why not just but a new printer.

Maria, just download and install the full software package, forget picking diagnostics or drivers. I’ve done that 2 or 3 times, what’s wrong with taking the full package? It includes everything you need and will refresh whatever is missing on your PC.

I guess I wasn't entirely clear either. The question I had was whether you had tried to reinstall, without necessarily reinstalling the drivers, just going through the Windows printer setup.
