They asked me whether I have a PayPal account, said yes. They asked if I mainly use it for purchases or sales, said purchases rarely for sales.

They didn't want any statements for the PayPal account from me though.

That's correct. If the balance is zero (as you are not receiving any money) and you simply use it for purchases funded by a linked card/account, they are not interested in collecting statements as this has clearly proved to be quite problematic in the past. So their scripts around what they ask regarding PayPal accounts has been updated to reflect this.

Obviously is PayPal has been used to store a positive credit balance then this should be declared.

I think it depends on the agent.

I also used paypal for making payments only and as I don't sell on ebay or any other platform it didn't have any money coming in but previously I had to print a 4 months statement. This time i've not said I have a paypal account as they closed it.

I've had to give different bank statements than the previous review in 2024, from the same bank accounts. This agent didn't accept online statements whilst the previous one did. This agent changed the 4 months dates when she didn't accept the online statements so it went from current Feb to 4 months back then she asked for 2 months more to take it back to the first 4 months so it ended with 6 months statements. Doesn't make a difference to me as I don't work and UC and child benefit are the only payments in which deplete in some weeks to almost zero.

I received a message a month ago (a month after I submitted bank statements) that she has all the documents and will call but nothing yet.

This agent also asked for proof of my child being in college even though the previous one didn't and I had to get a letter for it.
