S&P 500 Distributing ETF
I have invested in FTSE 100 and FTSE world distributing ETF but not yet invested in the S&P 500 ETF.
Anyone can comment on a S&P 500 distributing ETF in sterling that you have invested in the past or present? The name of fund? Thanks.
Not looking for advice or opinion, just a fact, that is, the actual name of the fund.

Maybe look at and filter to distributing. It depends what's your priority - a very large fund for liquidity, or one with lowest TER fees?
You do realise that there is less focus on dividends for S&P500 companies unlike UK FTSE companies. Typical yield is usually 1% or less.

You realise that your FTSE world ETF is 60%-70% US, and 80+% of the US investments will be S&P500 companies?

that's interesting. no, i didn't know that the dividends are low on S&P 500 ETF

that's interesting. so the FTSE world isn't far off the S&P 500, is that what you are saying? that as i invest the ftse world etf, like VWRL, it is similar to the S&P 500 ETF?

Yes, much of the All World ETF is in the S&P500.

What are you trying to achieve with your investments? It seems a little hit and hope at the moment.
The FTSE100 is represented in FTSE World too.
What reasons do you have for wanting to be a closet fund manager and go overweight in both UK Large cap and US?
If your strategy is yield, then going heavier in UK equities makes sense given the mix of the UK stock market. However, going heavy in US doesn't achieve that with an S&P tracker (there are other US funds that do have a yield focus).

my investment stragety is a bit strange and i don't want to discuss it here. i am looking for more funds to invest in as i am an oppotunist so the more funds available for me to speculate on the better.
not invested in the S&P 500 index funds and people have said it is a good fund to invest in, so thought I should have a look into it, but there are so many funds out there, wanted to see if anyone had ones they have invested in themselves and can recommend for me to look into further. to narrow down my research.

But the point is that it isn't practical to review or recommend investments in a vacuum, they need to be considered in the context of what the strategy and objectives are, i.e. any given product can't really be assessed as being good or bad on a standalone basis but has to be evaluated in terms of what the overall aim is.
It's a bit like, say, cars, in that it's pointless asking for recommendations about what would be a decent car to drive without giving any clues about the use, i.e. some would need a people carrier, others a city EV, others a 4x4, etc, etc - each has its merits but they can only be measured against what's required.

i am not looking for advice. i am looking to hear from anyone who has invested in S&P 500 ETF and can state the name of the fund that they invest in so I can look into it further.
the question is that simple, "Please let me know if you have invested in S&P 500 ETF in the past or present and can tell me the name of the fund". It may sound a strange question but that is my question. it is a very simple question.
i have now amended my original post to make my question clearer.
